Heath plays two corkscrews in a row. The spin on the ball makes it come off perpendicular to the side wall. The first one ends up back right, and Power boasts it back front left. Heath then plays the second corkscrew with his backhand, so it ends up back left, but this time isn't as deep. Power has room to take a full swing under the ball as it crosses in front of him, then plays the drop once its fully crossed to his forehand.
At 0:24, the ball can be clearly seen passing in front of power.
It was actually a ball coming towards him at angle which could be played with backhand at a lower height, which he tried to, but let it past in his front gaining height and played forehand as the ball moved to his right side.
some things you cannot teach,Power and the Khans make me want to be a better player, there is no better feeling than when you pull off a shot that completely leaves your opponent for dead,Squash, what a game!
HE IS THE MODERN WIZARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
True genius. I am not a squash player - don't get mad, I am a tennis player - but what Power can do on a squash court is absolutely amazing. He is truly up there with Gretzky and Mike Weir as one of the great Canadian athletes.
nah, he swung the racquet under the ball on the backhand side (without hitting the ball), and then tapped it with the forehand. he did all of this obviously after it had bounced off the back wall, so the ball was going forward
in the first one he swings the racket under the ball so martin heath already thinks power played the shot and then power hits the bal into the front-left corner:)
Awesome. I managed to pull off a shot like his first trick shot in training the other week, no way would I try it in competition tho. Hit a sweet trickle boast as well that bamboozled my opponent, gotta love pulling out the unexpected sometimes.
Me and my buds play round robin and whoever hits the best shot of the night has their drinks bought for them in the bar after, sometimes if the shot is that good there's a bigger reward. I gave my buddies a facial after the trickle boast.
Jansher was the best ever. But Powers has the best "hands" in squash. Just look at some of the videos of his training. Jansher's domination for over 10 years cannot be compared too.
Jansher's domination can be compared!: JAHANGIR!! who won over 500 consecutive professional matches & TEN consecutive British Open's AND is the youngest player ever to win the World Open @ age 17!!
he's way more exciting than Power, and if u dont find that exciting, then it's because u don't seem to able to comprehend the skill it takes to hurl people all over the court as consistently as he did and oh yeah, he owned Power as well and even Power himself says, he is the greatest to ever play the game, so take ur canadian anguish elsewhere and u may wanna keep ur stupid comments there as well
i've heard jonathan talk about jansher - he hardly thinks he was the best to ever play the game. as far as owning jonathan, i've only seen a couple of matches between them and jonathan was just coming up the rankings at the time - like 1997 in india - jansher squeaks it out in 5 by blocking and desperately trying to slow things down. brutal squash. i'm not a canadian squash fan, i'm a squash fan...good riddance to jansher.
He was coming up the rankings for sure but used to beat Peter pretty frequently who was busy taking over from Jansher and there r many matches in which Jansher got him 3-0 and u don't wanna start about talking about 'blocking' when it comes to Jonathon, he thought it was his right to block and take as much space as possible, so pls don't go there specially in reference to him... & read his interviews where he states that Jansher was the greatest to ever play the game... it's actually on record..
It is a very cool fake. Tough to execute, try it yourself. I have drilled it over and over on court and can't really hone it well enough to bother with it in a match.
wait so he hits it twice in the first trick? isn't that illegal?

To all of you who are confused if he did hit it twice or if it came off the back wall... watch closely at 0:15 and 0:24 (replay from front).
At 0:15, the ball never came upto back wall.
At 0:24, the ball can be clearly seen passing in front of power.
It was actually a ball coming towards him at angle which could be played with backhand at a lower height, which he tried to, but let it past in his front gaining height and played forehand as the ball moved to his right side.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker
