What I really meant to write was I bought the album- "We must believe in Magic" back in 1977 when this was a hit from that album. Indeed, we should believe in magic. I think Crystal got tired of having to do this song for a while but I love it."Green Door" was on the album- it was a monster hit a few years later for Shakin' Stevens in the UK. Crystal could have had a hit with it..

I went out with a Welsh girl for a single date 30 years ago- she had brown eyes but as the evening went on her eyes went green. Anyway, it's a night I still remember. Before people say "That can't happen", I have greeny-brown eyes and they do get a bit greener if I visit somewhere really sunny- Greek islands etc. Of course, I may have imagined it happened with this woman but I am convinced the memory is correct. I never saw her again- she was going to get married and I was her "Last fling"-!!

What a great 1977 tune. Beautiful, sad, and haunting. This is the first most of us heard of this striking lady. Her voice was deep, and soulful for a country singer. She could not have sounded more different from her sister Loretta if she tried. And I remember her hair was so long, it came close to touching the back of her knees. I miss times like this, when you could hear so many different types of music on the same radio channel. Now, everything sounds the same.
