As a fan created vocaloid neru is ok. It's really sad to see people get so uptight and butthurt when someone criticizes her or other fan made "vocaloids". She sounds just fine, but not the greatest, especially since its just Miku's voice but with the pitch changed.

BTW I got a rough translation of the song. Notice the chorus 'Utau uta' means 'sing a song'. In this song Neru, somewhat is a marionette on the original video, wants to sing because it gives her life as a marionette.
