That is the whole point of the song. When Religon is no longer a source of unity then it has ceased to be of God and people suffer.

Throughout history God has manifested Himself in those such as Abraham, Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Muhammed, The Bab and Baha'u'llah. All are of God. All brought the Divine Prescription for the ills of the age. To deny one of God's Holy Messengers is to deny them all. Baha'u'llah, the most recent we believe, has said: "All men have been created to carry forward an ever advancing civilization"
