  • @EH3Hatch Stock rods and pistons are fine for pump fuel calibrations.

  • Soooo......lemme get this straight.....I spend 30 grand on an A3, drop another 6 on this tune.....and I can smoke an M5? Thats nothing short of incredible.

  • @vagike We totally agree. This is why you can no longer purchase this exhaust system. We replaced it with the APR RSC exhaust system which has 0 drone.

  • We are always cautious when it comes to transmissions and usually recommend an upgrade. However, that being said, to this date, we have not seen a single failure anywhere in the world related to our kits.

  • Sorry the compretion ratio for the Audi S3 is higher than the one for the A3

    It´s 9.8:1 , does this higher compretion ratio affect the car if it has got chip, due to the fact that the S3 doesn´t arrive to the USA. Have you been able to test this on an audi S3. In your homepage it gives the option to chip the A3 and S3 but the S3 power figures are nowhere to be found. i´ve already bought and audi S3 and i would like to know if it has the same reliability as a chipped A3 engine.

  • Audi S3 is lower compression, not higher.

    lower compression does affect the calibration potentials. Lower compression allows us to increase timing for cooler exhaust gasses an more power.

    We have stage 3 for the Audi S3 and will release it soon. We were seeing well above 400 on 98 ron.

  • I´ve just bought an audi S3 whith the 2009 tsi engine which develops 265hp. I know this engine is slightly different to the 200hp tsi engine because it has a different compression ratio13.5:1

    Is the chip safe with this compression ratio I know a few people that have blown the motor of their S3 (not with APR chip of course). How much horsepower will my car make if i put the chip, exhaust and fuel pump. Thanks

  • The APR software is safe with your engine. Others must be pushing the stock engine unsafely if they are blowing it up but this is something APR doesn't do.

  • I would like to know if the apr stage 3 fit the 2009 audi S3( facelift) engine because i know it has a different compression ratio than the A3. I would like to know this because the audi a3 quattro doesn´t come to my country (Argentina), and i would really like to have an all whell drive s3 with 382hp. Thanks.

  • This will work on the S3 although it's slightly different.

    The 2009 A3 has a TSI motors (CCTA/CBFA) in the states. The stage 3 kit for that be released soon.

  • This car has the following modifications:

    APR Stage 3 Turbo Upgrade System

    APR High pressure Fuel Pump

    APR Full Turboback Stealth Exhaust

    APR Intercooler

  • Such a gorgeous sounding engine. lovely.

  • No DSG software is needed to go above 450nm of torque. This may be a problem for other tuners in Europe but we have no issue going well above this level with only our ECU software. We do not need to reflash the DSG to do this. We have never needed to flash the DSG to go above this level.

    The HPA & Giac programs do not make the gearbox 'Resist' 500nm of torque. Just like upgrading engine hardware/software, more aggressive DSG software would shorten life, not resist or prolong it.

  • Amazing acceleration, i would like to now if apr offers a special software for dsg since with stage 3 it would have 450nm of torque and this dsg gearbox is prepared for 350nm torque. I wouldn´t want to brake this amazing gearbox. I now hpa motorsports and giac offer programs that make it capable to resist 500nm torque. I would like to know this because it doesn´t appear in your homepage offering this kind of product which i assume this a3 has. Thank you very much
