I actually just got through this in 2 turns thanks to your video. The only differences were my lvl 99 party and I used Magic Seal with Sed thinking it would stop his regenerus. Instead it stopped his Reflect as soon as he used it on the next turn and here I was, thinking I had to waste time getting 1 Turn Cast. Thanks a lot man and I hope magic seal helps you guys too.

THANK YOU for giving me the hope I needed, man! I did your method, it was different for me though, since the third turn was way more problematic. Proffesor K was the first to act, and he did the freakin kelo-impact for 15.000-18.000 dmg on everyone! Luckily, Kaim got weapon guard triggered and all other inmortals got persistance triggered, and could wipe out the beast having even lower level than you (sed 71, inmortals all 85-86)
you know, why didnt he use the same strat but instead of having his whole party an inch from dead to reverse, just keep em all hp maxed and devide instead, exact same amount of damage but ALOT less risk

So you basically get all your HP low and spam Reversa and hope for the best Sounds easy enough but lol I will be prepared to run down the floors turn-tailing from every fight... since I usually have bad luck llol
I'm sorry, but this is the most stupid boss I've ever seen in an RPG or JRPG. The defenses of the boss make physical attacks useless and the only spell you can afford to use is Reversa because the casting times of Leveler and Divide take too long due to the constant Generatus that the fag likes to cast on himself. And to top it all off, the douche has Annihilation, which just so happens to take all of my party out in one fell-swoop because I am just that damn unlucky. Fucking dumb boss.

I have another way if you don't mind lol. You wear the same minimal requirement as Dezzraven but you ABSOLUTELY got to have your characters at level 99. Then you max out their HP. First Round you cast Double Reversa with all your characters but for Sed you only cast Reflect. At the second round you cast with Sed Reflect, Kaim & Seth Double Reflect like this every characters are supposed to get Reflected. only Sarah & Ming Cast double reversa

@josh19852008 If i remember correctly Steam k-monster(accelerator drop) appears randomly at floors 16-19,supreme k(rose quartz drop) appears randomly in floors 21-24.Keep in mind that to get them to appear is not so hard.The hard thing is to get the precious drop.I was extremely lucky with the accelerator-got him to appear my first time on the dungeon and i got the accelerator;D
@VFellhn I am still trying to get prototype 3 to show and I havent. I do not want to go lower until I get it. I am the type of person that I have to get something before I move on. I still havent gotten any drops :(.
@VFellhn I did 201 battles and I only faced him 40 times. He never dropped it. I can see making it difficult to get him to show. The ridiculous drop rate though? COMMON! It is almost not even worth it!
@josh19852008 It seems that you have a lack of luck.Or i was incredibly lucky.Well i know its frustrating(played lineage 2,the drop rate is insanely low),depents on ur patience.I wanna ask you,what lvl are ur characters?If they are low,try to lvl up your characters there.Its a way to stop thinking about the drop,and focus on lvling.This way you may get the drop when you dont expect it.
@VFellhn I just got the illinsionist gauntlet. My characters Kaim, and Seth are lvl 100. Ming and Sarah lvl 98. Jensen is lvl 91. the other 4 I have not leveled yet and are pretty much at lvl 52.

Even though reversa is quicker ,divide is a safer bet i think.hit him with divide till u got low hp and then hit him with reversa.rose quartz is not essential anyway.accellerator can do the job fine.

It does'nt impact the story and for me i had to farm to get the rose quart and accelerator.. hour wise prolly around 10 hrs theres no save point there at all and youll have to get ur hp down not as easy to do and if u die youll have to start from floor 1 to the 26 floor I think its worth it but then again im trying to get 100% in the game. something u cant do without this add on.. anyways good luck =)
Krazy in order to get all the achievements youll need to get the DLC + on the 19 floor u can farm for accelerator its reduse casting time 3 and the rose quartz u can get on the same level it makes it that theres no waiting to cast anything u cast but its 999sp.. And yes i would get it its filled with slot seeds.. it does take time to do i think its worth it.. 400points on live good luck krazy ciao

i think its also possible when u start with 9999 and just begin with divide8x, just have persistence on to cover urself for the reflect, when you have 1hp just use this strategy. think its someway the same but should work, and its easier to change ur strategy this way

@CharlemagneReturns well its definitely better than Thirteen. I actually liked most of the aspects of Twelve except for its general story line. The dungeons were great, plenty of side missions that turned out to be more interesting than the main story line, and tons of summons!
Because reversa inflicts damage based on how much hp you've lost. For example: Kaim has lost 2300 hp and casts reversa. He then inflicts 2300 damage on Professor K.
Read The Video Description, If he used all Fighting Skills, It would be MUCH longer than a 3 Turn Boss Battle, But on the other side, Reversa is much more helpful than attacking alone, With the help of persistence and Complete defense, This boss battle should ease up some more for the people who have trouble with this guy. yeah i just went 5 hours and no items so i'm using this method. And i used that time efficiently. Killed the slayer k or whatever in 2 turns most of the time. sed went from 52 to 84. i planned on using mack whose at 87-89 with the rest of my part.
Warp to Ipsilon Port. The take the Nautilus underwater and head east. There is an underwater structure there. Just approach it and enter when prompted.
Annihilation is lame, worst part is that you cannot flee from this battle once started, that really got me angry since it was my first time to meet him. Great vid though

All my immortals had HP around 100 to be sure that persistance will be used ( none of the other auto-activated such as Lucky 0 Magic Damageprotections worked when i fought it)

the best white staff is underwater near where khent used to be. take nautilus near kelolon village and go under water. if you have magic locater lvl3 then you should be able to see it as a glowing orange dot. kinda hard to see though.
Wow thanks , this strategy worked for me but just barely. Ming was the only one left alive. Reflect works well against the annihlation attack. I had all my characters at lvl 99 too .
you guys all think you have to be over 80 to kill this guy? I killed him with all my party memebers at lvl69. The two key spells are reflect and DISPEL. Yes you can dispel his healing ability. It will take about 6 to 10 turns to kill him but its less stressful then the any other way.
I know you can dispel his healing ability but it's usually a waste of time. I didn't know that you could reflect the annihilation attack. I was pretty sure that I had it up and his attack blew right through it.
Then again maybe not. I'll have to test that sometime. Being over level 80 isn't the problem here, it's the speed with which you need to kill him. But if this works then that might make life simpler.
yeah I had reduce casting times on my chars. I used dispel once on him and he didnt use in healing ability for two turns which caused for him to die the turn after that. One time i lasted over 30 turns trying to kill him becuase I kept casting reflect on my guys and i didnt know at the time i could dispel him.

I find the divide method to be a whole lot easier and not based on luck of the AI doing something in your favor, which can take forever, but whatever works for people.
No he isn't. If the fight goes on longer than three turns he will destroy your party. The Immortal is only really hard due to his constant counters where he can pound you with non-stop group hitting spells if he gets into the right mood. Even then my Crisis Defense kicked in allowing me to kill him on the first try. I'm currently on my third for Professor K and still getting hammered every time I try. Plus it's a hassle if you die trying to get to him again.
I seriously don't know. My advice to him is to search it in google, because he can find it faster. Thanks for acting like you know everything though, Asshole.
I don't get it, you say you don't have the DLC accessories, and you're lvl 90. You double cast Reversa with all characters and go first....
I can't even get my dudes using one item or casting one spell to go first, he'll double-act on me more often than not, generally Annihilation + something else each turn before I can act at all.
There must be an incredible amount of luck involved, no matte rhow many times I try it, he just doesn't do the same stuff everyone says. On me, he spams Reflect/Kelo-ultimate/annihilation and save for annihilation, he acts first to finish off anybody remaining from his last Ultimate. My Complete Defense never activates or works, Persistence never saves anybody, or stupid stuff happens like I absorb a reflected reversa and do 0 instead of 18k.
You can only do the dungeon sometime in the middle of the 4th disk. Its underwater and in a closed off area, so you need either to Jump with the nautilus (and go underwater) or the White Boa to get there.
Its called Experimental Staff Remains. Earlier in the game it blew up but makes for a good DLC dungeon.
when prof k's hp gets to 40000 he could use a skill similar to ultimate hit, kello-timate hit. which inflicts about 10000 on all characters so be sure to have absorb attck and magic.
turn 4
do the same thing as turn 3.
forces, prismus and annihaltion wont effect you so be sure to make sure refelect is always on, you should be able to beat him in about 5 turns.
another method to beat prof K with no DLC skills, i tried this startegy earlier.
have sed in front row and 4 immortals in back row. equip sed with ailement resistence, lvl 8 blk-white magic and lvl 8 spirit magic. Have immortals be equiped with all the abilitys said in the vid. Make sure your immortals and sed are on a level above 90.
After beating the Arthrosaurus, get the treasure tip from a person in the hotel, then go to the place where the Arthrosaurus statue WAS...in the City of Ruins....you know, Cooke and Mack's home

@LelouchRika Yeah, FFXII was great. Wasn't a fan of the combat system tho, but the game still delivered A LOT. I never got to finish tho bcuz my PS2 died 60 hours in lol.

@CharlemagneReturns well its definitely better than Thirteen. I actually liked most of the aspects of Twelve except for its general story line. The dungeons were great, plenty of side missions that turned out to be more interesting than the main story line, and tons of summons!

Because reversa inflicts damage based on how much hp you've lost. For example: Kaim has lost 2300 hp and casts reversa. He then inflicts 2300 damage on Professor K.

Read The Video Description, If he used all Fighting Skills, It would be MUCH longer than a 3 Turn Boss Battle, But on the other side, Reversa is much more helpful than attacking alone, With the help of persistence and Complete defense, This boss battle should ease up some more for the people who have trouble with this guy. yeah i just went 5 hours and no items so i'm using this method. And i used that time efficiently. Killed the slayer k or whatever in 2 turns most of the time. sed went from 52 to 84. i planned on using mack whose at 87-89 with the rest of my part.

Warp to Ipsilon Port. The take the Nautilus underwater and head east. There is an underwater structure there. Just approach it and enter when prompted.

The technique worked perfectly for me the first time i tried it!!
It worked very smoothly... as the boss seems to always cast reflect on 2nd turn and then its kelolon blade stuff !!!
All my immortals had HP around 100 to be sure that persistance will be used ( none of the other auto-activated such as Lucky 0 Magic Damageprotections worked when i fought it)
Only Sed dead but because being my first line man to protect everybody ^^ !!

the best white staff is underwater near where khent used to be. take nautilus near kelolon village and go under water. if you have magic locater lvl3 then you should be able to see it as a glowing orange dot. kinda hard to see though.

Wow thanks , this strategy worked for me but just barely. Ming was the only one left alive. Reflect works well against the annihlation attack. I had all my characters at lvl 99 too .

you guys all think you have to be over 80 to kill this guy? I killed him with all my party memebers at lvl69. The two key spells are reflect and DISPEL. Yes you can dispel his healing ability. It will take about 6 to 10 turns to kill him but its less stressful then the any other way.

I know you can dispel his healing ability but it's usually a waste of time. I didn't know that you could reflect the annihilation attack. I was pretty sure that I had it up and his attack blew right through it.
Then again maybe not. I'll have to test that sometime. Being over level 80 isn't the problem here, it's the speed with which you need to kill him. But if this works then that might make life simpler.

yeah I had reduce casting times on my chars. I used dispel once on him and he didnt use in healing ability for two turns which caused for him to die the turn after that. One time i lasted over 30 turns trying to kill him becuase I kept casting reflect on my guys and i didnt know at the time i could dispel him.

I find the divide method to be a whole lot easier and not based on luck of the AI doing something in your favor, which can take forever, but whatever works for people.

No he isn't. If the fight goes on longer than three turns he will destroy your party. The Immortal is only really hard due to his constant counters where he can pound you with non-stop group hitting spells if he gets into the right mood. Even then my Crisis Defense kicked in allowing me to kill him on the first try. I'm currently on my third for Professor K and still getting hammered every time I try. Plus it's a hassle if you die trying to get to him again.

I don't get it, you say you don't have the DLC accessories, and you're lvl 90. You double cast Reversa with all characters and go first....
I can't even get my dudes using one item or casting one spell to go first, he'll double-act on me more often than not, generally Annihilation + something else each turn before I can act at all.

There must be an incredible amount of luck involved, no matte rhow many times I try it, he just doesn't do the same stuff everyone says. On me, he spams Reflect/Kelo-ultimate/annihilation and save for annihilation, he acts first to finish off anybody remaining from his last Ultimate. My Complete Defense never activates or works, Persistence never saves anybody, or stupid stuff happens like I absorb a reflected reversa and do 0 instead of 18k.

You can only do the dungeon sometime in the middle of the 4th disk. Its underwater and in a closed off area, so you need either to Jump with the nautilus (and go underwater) or the White Boa to get there.
Its called Experimental Staff Remains. Earlier in the game it blew up but makes for a good DLC dungeon.

when prof k's hp gets to 40000 he could use a skill similar to ultimate hit, kello-timate hit. which inflicts about 10000 on all characters so be sure to have absorb attck and magic.
turn 4
do the same thing as turn 3.
forces, prismus and annihaltion wont effect you so be sure to make sure refelect is always on, you should be able to beat him in about 5 turns.

prof k will cast regenerus
note: regenerus heals him about 20000hp.
turn 2
sed cast flare
seth and kaim cast divide
sarah and ming single cast groundas
turn 3
sed magic seal
immortals double cast divide, even if it takes 1 turn to cast so prof k's hp wont go up 2 frequantly.

tired of losing? bored at running 26 floors?
another method to beat prof K with no DLC skills, i tried this startegy earlier.
have sed in front row and 4 immortals in back row. equip sed with ailement resistence, lvl 8 blk-white magic and lvl 8 spirit magic. Have immortals be equiped with all the abilitys said in the vid. Make sure your immortals and sed are on a level above 90.
