@mitchellabradley Actually, that's not true. Servers often make 2.65 hour, so tips are what they live on. And since they have to pay taxes on their sales, if they don't not get a adequate amount of tips for the night, they could actually end up paying to serve a guest.

On top of that, most places REQUIRE the server to pay out the bar tender and the busser or host a percentage according to what they make in SALES, not tips.

I work part-time as a bouncer, and the people I work with generally share the "customers are idiots" attitude, and ironically, while I like most of them, they aren't exactly the smartest group of people I've ever worked with. I hate exceptionalism, and us-vs-them attitudes in any form.

I've done worse. Appointed personal assistant to (very rich) potential customers and you would not believe the habits some of these people have. A yelling customer who leaves after 30 minutes? What I would've given for an easy thing like that.

If you have to suffer peoples' bad habits for consecutive days, you wind up in way that becomes destructive for your own health. It leaves you no choice but to change your own attitude towards it.
