  • Where was this graduation?

  • one year from now, i'm gloing navy!!!

  • im sure some people think differently but i think drills and marching are badass.

  • so what awards can you achieve in the OCS and can you earn your jump wing in OCS

  • My daughter is in OCS right now and the class leader in her class is also another female. Affirmative action has NOTHING to do with being the class leader. It requires hard work and this position is EARNED! Much sweat and preparation goes into this! It is a position of honor and respect!

  • So the 1 woman in the class gets to be the leader, meanwhile the men have to pretend they actually respect her pitiful effeminate shrieking.

I guess the Affirmative Action starts from day 1 of your career in the US military.

  • Why are there the two smaller groups in khaki, and the main body in the Dress Blues?

  • The ones in SDBs are the members of the graduating class. The smaller groups in khaki are junior classes who are serving as rifle platoons for the graduation parade. They're typically the second to next class to graduate and the class following that.

  • wow second platoons guidearm needed to make the arm higher if he was a couple steps back he would have hit someone

  • You're right- perhaps there should have been a half-time show with fireworks. Get a clue.

  • I've worked with the Swedes, it's fun teaching them tactics. Look, youre obviously young and naïve, let me clue you in on some things. First, Swedish Officers use a similar style dress blue uniform, so your ignorant put down only makes you look foolish. Secondly, Sweden in no way compares to the US Fleet- in scope or size. Our forces' strength, capability, and ability to project are exceedingly superior to that of Sweden's. Learn some facts & diplomacy; your own Navy uses both, you should too.

  • Once I get my citenzship , I will go to the navy! help me God

  • @moespino28 dude !! if you are a legal resident u can still join ,and they will help you get your citizenship

  • @moespino28 God helps those who help themselves. Remember that, and good luck.

  • you need to learn to use your command voice! hahaha

    its not

    PAHHAHAHAHSSS AAANNDD REVIEW!

USe your command voice your voice is annoying its not a battle cry screaming contest there ensign!

  • I think you are correct. But if I'm not mistaken, the Navy also looks at years of prior service that is taken off your age.

  • I've never got my head around the american way of marching. It looks like it's an organised walk with minimum amount of effort required.

But, maybe I've just seen too many British/Commonwealth troops marching with full arms swinging and knee lifting.

  • yes, the United States' form of marching is meant to look like a coordinated walk, it's meant to look very natrual and not flashy.

  • is OCS HARD

  • Its challenging, but not impossible.

  • so ocs is harder than reg navy bootcamp when i went through navy bootcamp it was cake

  • Marine OCS is the hardest one.

  • Marine OCS is the same as the Navys you shitbag.... Marines have to go through Navy OCS and Rotc to be officers...

  • Marine OCS is different, not the same, yes they go through NROTC, but their OCS is different, it is at MCB Quantico, VA

  • Special Forces is the hardest one.

  • wow...their uniforms are way cooler than the Army. To bad theres an age limit for the Navy. (Army 42)

  • Gives me butterflies just to hear it! Makes me dream to be there and graduating an officer! I just hope I can this spring! Thanks

  • wow, lots of prior enlisted there.

  • really? can you tell?

I'm joining as enlisted first, but wants to become an officer after becoming a dentist.

  • how can u tell??????????

  • ribbons and warfare pins (ESWS and EAWS)

  • likewise- I'm in 12-08 with XeroJaeger... hoping to get to your side of the fence as quickly as possible!

  • Soon I'll be graduating from bootcamp...not quite like OCS, but close enough for me...

  • Cheers to 02-08 from 12-08.
