@dongjoo1000 Premium fuel? its high grade gas? Like you have the cheap stuff mid grade then high grade. If you still need help look at the gas station sign and which ever cost the most get that. Make sure its not diesel though and its gas ;)

@WTFisTHINHHH you have to mix gas and oil every time if your engine is a two stroke...but if its a 4 stroke DO NOT mix oil with gasoline instead add the oil to your engine where the oil is designed to go

@WTFisTHINHHH well first of all figure out if your engine is a 2 stroke(most likely if your talking about a pocket bike) or a 4 stroke...check the manual if you cant figure out which it is...anyways if you have a 2 stroke you DO need to mix the oil and fuel EVERY time you fill up the tank

If you dont know what the difference between a 2 stroke engine and a 4 stroke engine is then i suggest you google it and learn more about the different types of engines as this is just good knowledge to know

I use klotz in all my 2 cycle equipment like all the Stihl equipment a lawn boys smells great also

If you're using Mineral Oil, then use around 20-25:1. If it's synthetic you can use 30-50:1

This is a good general rule for any 2 stroke engine that requires premix. if it smokes a lot, then reduce the amount of oil a little bit. Eg. Go from 25:1 to 30:1 (the higher the big number, the less oil). just put slightly less oil in until it doesn't smoke too much. some engines smoke bit when they idle, this is pretty normal.

@markterry95 Personally I like the smoke, but one thing a lot of people don't know is that too much oil can actually make the engine run more lean so it can get hotter or bog out. Think about it, the more oil in the mixture, the lower the percentage of fuel that is burnt in the mixture, therefore the engine can run lean and bog out. Although it normally takes loads of oil for this to happen and usually the engine will foul up from all the excess oil before this happens :D

hey my pocket bike requires a ratio of 50:1 oil mixture but the only oil i have is 40:1 ratio do you think i could still use this or would that mess up my engine?

you have 20:1 (may be it is too much oil ).

100 mls in 4 litres of unleaded give you about 40:1 ratio .

Most morden 2 strokes run on 40:1 or 50:1.

older 2 strokes 30:1 or 20:1.

@nmaslic you NEED gas/oil mix. Proper mix too, not just willy nilly. Or else your engine doesn't get proper lubrication or over lubrication.

Too little and your engine will seize up and no longer work. Too much and you will have alot of carbon deposits on your exhaust, ruining performance and possibly other stuff.
