Millions have died and/or suffered due to innacurate medication produced in result of vivisection. The physiology of a rat is incredibly different than that of a human, just in case you didn't notice.The same goes for rabbits,cats,dogs,oppossums and pidgeons. There are many other methods capable of producing sufficient medication.

Billions have been saved? Oh, you mean living day to day, having to take nigh on 20 pills a day. I don't call that being saved. Most cures to diseases have not been found through animal testing but been found through methods such as autopsy, epidemiology, in-vitro research, Post-marketing drug surveillance and genetic research. These are all safe and accurate methods.

My favourite animals would be dogs, I have 5 dogs and they are my everything. But I do eat meat that comes from a private farm. I never buy it in major stores because that supports mass slaughter and pain.
