  • missigno real name: Missing number

  • lol shiny missing number

  • WHOAH SHINY MISSINGNO I WANT ONE

  • LOL DPBox's cry is like a bulbasaur and shiny O___O

  • @PrincessZeldaBlaze Yeah Google Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur

  • Its actually an invisible shiny bulbasaur. DP BOX is hex 8000. This is hex 0. It has no data.

  • is MissinGSURSUDFUFUuuuukckkkEQIWDUFUFUcjkjkk¿Fuckkkk pokemon...ignoran

  • Shiny DP Box!

  • yeah. No more MissingNo. =( programmers actually smart for this game...

They must have fired the guys that made MissingNo after those games finally...

People still remake the MissingNo. in hacked ROMs though lol.

    Yes it's that cool.

  • @clapandtouch

Actually no. The original MissingNo. had a purpose, but people kept hacking the games and now... well, they still exist in games, but in multiple variants, and it's very difficult to find the original MissngNo. in any games other than the originals. Nontheless, you can do it. Just takes some time to figure it out. :D

    ~Tobi

  • @Vezonmasta what was its original purpose?

  • @MastRCoD

The original purpose was actually as an anti-glitch thing. It was meant to be all 150, etc. Pokemon in the Pokedex that you hadn't seen yet. It was intended to basically stay in the number spot as a "?" until you saw the Pokemon it stood in for, and then it would go away. But since people hacked the codes, sometimes, you could find a piece of code that would be in place of a Pokemon. That's why it looks funny: it's code.

    ~Tobi

  • @clapandtouch I miss MissingNo....

  • Simply use the A.R. and walk through water and across the rocks move around and there u have ur DPBox

  • wat happens wen u breed it?

  • @samuel7897 Let's just say your game won't be too happy.

  • This doesn't work in the Valor Lakefront restaurant in Platinum. The trainers in there tell you that you need at least two Pokemon to battle.

  • EVERYONE use the cheat where you can find any pokemon by its number then use the cheat where you can catch any pokemon you want and for the number enter 0 or -0 and a missingno. will apear then catch it beacause it wont do much damage as the game reads it as stable data :)

  • its not a missingno. its a DPbox.

  • omg man dats da same thingas mine!

how the hell did u get urs?

  • I thought when you catch missingno your game gets deleted and you can't save?

  • actually i think that was random, some people actually got some 'good' missingno's, that didnt screw their games up, i myself had a missingno that worked just fine.

  • wow the quality really blew me off my feet

  • hahaha, lol!

  • how to:

go in a double battle with 1 pokemon.

  • Ok, so as far as I know, you get it by having 2 fainted pokes in your first 2 slots, then an egg, then a normal pokemon, then enter a Double Battle. As for getting rid of it, i think you can put it in the PC like a normal Poke, then release it, but I'm not 100% sure.

  • no, you drag a pokemon on its slot, that pokemon gets deleted, select DPbox and release it.

  • Eh, that's not Missingno, but the DPBox glitch.

  • That was amazing quality

  • Are you all absolutely sure this won't kill one's game? Cauuuuse I wanna try it...

It doesn't autosave upon appearing like MissingNo does in R/B, does it?

  • it doesn't autosave, but if you put it at the head of our party, you can't move it

so i got rid of mine

but mine was an egg when i got it from a code messup

  • Not Missingno. That's DPbox. The last MissingNo. was in Yellow.

  • techinacally there was one in gold.

  • That was ???????? =P

  • missingno is a popular name too call glitched pk.

  • @glitchedgamer

That's Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur. Not BPBox. If you find a DPBox, you can see a little bit a Arceus...

  • does this only work for the japanese version?

I have the pokemon in the correct order (two fainted, egg, and healthy), and yet the trainers say that I need two pokemon to battle.

  • Maybe you used the vs seeker or has a sixth pokemon?

  • vs. seeker doesent work.

  • just use a action replay to use the walk through walls cheat, then start a new game and right when you start ( before you get your starting pokemon ) walk through some trees until you fing some grass and walk in it.......ta-da

  • That's a DPBox, not MissingNo..

  • why risk it

  • It's not Missingo. It's DPBOX

  • yes go into double battle with two fainted pokemon, an egg, and a healthy pokemon in that order

  • Thanks, but....

I will not do that. It'll destroy my game!

  • good idea lmao

  • the reason it has a bulbasaur cry is cause missingno. isnt a pokemon so the game gets confused and brings out the first cry it can find [bulbasaur is #001 in pokedex] the reason its shiny....well you can search me!

(i am the god of useless info)

  • Jeez... that's scary. =/

  • how do u get missingno. without Action Replay?

  • You have to enter a double battle with two fainted Pokemon, an egg and a healthy Pokemon - but it has to be in that order. And it won't work if you use vs. seeker to enter a battle.

Does anyone know if using the glitch causes side effects in your game?

  • little freezing spirts now and then but havent owned the game long enough / played it long enough for any long term effects to be noticed

  • If you put it in the PC, and you switch its position with another Pokemon, the other Pokemon gets "eaten".

  • wat

  • wow missingno look like a solral panle thing lol

  • you get dpbox when you have 2 fainted pokemon, and egg, and 1 healthy pokemon in your party.

there is also invisible shiny bulbasaur.

  • The DPbox is a box shiny bulbasaur!

    Listen to its cry.

  • LOL

  • All shall cower in fear, and tremble at the might of the MIGHTY DPBOX! It shall bring an end to all you know! It is the harbinger of armageddon, and shall reduce the world to ashes!

  • o.o! Oh noes!!!

  • i no a way to get another. start a new game and head directly to the prof's house (but u can;t use it XD)

  • looks like a flat piece of paper with 2 strokes over it... lol

  • Where are you in the vid?? I know its a house but where????

  • near lake valor

  • MissingNo is a deus ex machina. A ghost in the machine. A digital lifeform. Not in any way related to a Digimon. This creature was a prototype, intended to be used as a guardian-virus for government computer networks. But it somehow escaped from military servers, sped across the internet, and appeared in the Nintendo servers. It has since devolved into the MissingNo we all know to be a glitch.

  • dues ex machina means "God from the machine" not Ghost. MissingNo. appears in RB and Y only because of a programming oversight. There are like 15 more glitch pokemon too. Plus, MissingNo. has only been in the first generation, the rest of the glitch pokemon in later generations are due to cheating. Now if you want to make up a crazy story, I suggest monkeys...or lion. A gun wielding lion.

  • Hey! That's Sega's job!

  • Ne, isn't a deus ex machina more like a plot device? >_>;;

(Though I guess technically it could be, without the reference to "ghost in the machine" ... it does give you a solution to how to catch a ton of Pokemon easily... *muses*)

  • Deus Ex Machina.

  • OMG it totally jacked up your fonts! Ouch!

  • Holy frig. This reminds me of Missingno in R/B. Good times...

  • lol, this person has the exact same caemra I have,, check my videos and compare the sounds, it's the same...

  • is that red light the record light on your camera??

    nice.

  • I've heard of a glitch called "WTFPoke"

    lol...

  • That's creepy that is a big shiny white wall with Bulbasaur's cry. I wonder if it's in the English Version?

  • You can only get it in the Japanes version; the mistake was removed upon the release of the NA version.

  • Green Pokemon And Shiny Glitch Bulbasaur

  • nope its not missingno missingno is only in red blue and yellow though there is pokemon like it in every generation its not missingno but another glitch pokemon

  • Is that box thing Missingno?

  • should have shown more

  • forgot 2 mention japanese only sorry folks

  • to get that missingno u have to have 2 fainted pokemon, 1 egg, 1 healthy pokemon, and 2 empty spaces, in that order. then initiate a double battle. your normal pokemon and that creepy thing will come out. enjoy it, because i think it makes your game freeze.

  • how do u get it in dp

  • ah, good ol missingno, shall it exist as long as video games exist, after all, missingno is in other games bsides pokemon games

  • I So OWN with my Missing NO Maxed Everything and Lv.100 and is gangster!

  • Missing No.: single coolest thing pokemon ever. True story, when I fought it the missing no. used a move called tombstone. My game would shut off after this move, it was sweet.

  • wow....does it works in the US version?

  • Nope. Just tried it. It, like the Surf glitch, is disabled.

  • MissingNo. shall always live...and never die. XD!

  • missingno is just a blank spot that was not used for a pokemon. see in the games each has its own spot and missing no is spot 0, and after the set of pokemon. so it will always be there.

  • Yeah...I already knew that...

  • So I cant get rid of this thing? D;

I have been searching all over on how to get rid of this little bugger.

  • MissingNo. lives!!

  • Wrong. I have the ?? guy and I use it all the time, he's safe and fun to use against people who have never seen him. The (?) is the bad one that can mess up your game.

  • missingno. looks like a giant white block.

  • 43 days.

  • I don't think there are any yet...

  • :( Focus!!

  • Actually I have it better than you do, question mark in circle is from using hacks

  • missingno has been in every pokemon game since r/b/y. It is safe to catch if it is 2 white question marks, not safe to catch as the block blur, and not safe to catch as a question mark in a circle. Don't cheat and you might run into a missingno that is legit and catchable. :)

  • In all technicalities, they're safe to catch so long as they're encountered correctly. ? in a circle appears as an absence of Pokémon data, or if you cause the game to create a Pokémon with index number 000. The ?? thing appears if you accidentally, or on purpose, cause the game to create a Pokémon with an index number between 252 and 276. Kanto and Johto Pokémon are index 001-251, while Hoenn are 277-411, with an egg at 412 and the Unown besides A at 413-439.

  • ESA PENDEJADA KE

  • MSSINGNO MY BABY!

  • MISSINGNO, YOU CAME BACK (hugs)

  • first to do this glitch u need 1 fainted pokemon, 1 non-fainted pokemon and a egg place the non-fainted pokemon and the egg at 1 and 2 place go to the hotel route 213 and talk with a person in couple and tada

  • lol, it has an animation >>'

  • Missingno... DON'T CATCH!!!

You see it is a glitch in the game... it can corrupt you... WATCH OUT!

  • That was Red and Blue.

  • how did u get your hands on this game???

  • Importing is not hard to do -_-

  • new game, same old glitches.

  • AAH! I dont want a Missingno in my game!

  • lol missingno the greatest pokemon ever

never knew he was in the new pokemon games

  • OMG A shiny Bulasuar...

    Pffft...

  • IT LIVES!!!

    Missingno. forever.

  • affffff...

  • wow hw did u get it?!!

  • I am trying to figure out how I got it

    and how to get rid of it D;

  • it worked on my ruby too!

  • Wow, so many peple accuse it of being fake, just like when it was first found. I can only pray they fix this for the U.S. release. (See?

Therre are good things about getting it later)

  • Dunno if it would duplicate your icons. This is a whole new Missingno.. =)

    Is that a Bulbasaur I heard? o_0

I'm importing Diamond; it will arrive soon. Does this mess up your game? I don't want my cart being ruined.

  • Missingno:DUPE ITEMS TIME!

  • Missingno: You can't destroy me...

  • haha

  • According to the GameFAQs thread, the glitch is caused by having only 1 non-KO'd Pokémon in your party, and an EGG in the second slot, then entering a 2v2 battle. If you have D/P, you could probably try it yourself.

  • HAcked.

  • teamaquadan, you're stupid.

  • I question the legitabili..ty of that Missingno.

  • the missingno made the noise of a shiny pokemon when it came out f its ball, therefore it is most likely a fuked up glitch

  • Hey genius! A Supercard won't produce a glitch like that. It's either in the games coding, or the games been hacked.

  • that's not missig NO, I'm sure ur fake game is failing, maybe u should see if ur supercard, g6 or whatever r u using is working fine

  • well the game sayd that the trainer only has 1 pokemon it may be real glitch

  • Awesome!!!
