You admit you agree with slavery as long as the mob does.Facism, Communism, like Stallin he believe the way you do... he killed over 20 million people -- but its all relative right - not immoral- That's where atheism usually leads. Thanks for proving that -- AGAIN.
Haha mathematic laws has NOTHING to do with morals, are you joking or what? Again you make baseless claims that isn't supported by anything. Most people think loving your kids is moral that DOESN'T mean it's absolute at all, that just means that alot of people do love their kids (not by choice) and find that to gain them benifit and joy and therefore approves of it, please THINK before you type something. And as i said before, it would require REASONS for me to like slavery, but as i said, none.
haha again with your silly conclusion, i said if there is a reason to justicy it then i will most likely too but i can't be sure because i dont seea reason to justify it, i pretty much destroyed your arguments and now you try jump to some weird ideas without thinking them through just to safe face.
why thank you *blush* didn't realize im a genius... anyway, my reasons is that i can imagine myself in the girls position and know it's unpleasent and therefore i'd say it's a bad thing. Just because your moral law perhaps does not allow you to see it as wrong, doesn't mean i have to agree or accept your moral as right. Rape causes damage therefore i'd advice you not to do it.
You destroyed none of my points. You proved them. You made a fool of yourself by appealing to the same moral law you deny exists. It's actually quite humorous to watch you dig yourself deeper in a whole every time you post.
So far you admitted you believe slavery and rape are both moral as long as everyone else is doing it. We put people like that in prison. Oh yeah prison -- legal - laws -- get it? That is appealing to an absolute standard and judging someones morality.
Well you have no points you're just claiming to be right, and for the last time - i never said i'd gof or slavery i said that if everybody else found i reason i probaly would too, has nothing to do with the others, has to do with your supposed reason, UNDERSTAND? you are so thick that i need to explain everything three times. and LEGAL laws are not absolute, they're changing often - get it? JUST like moral changes all the time, you don't get the most basic principles
This is why i hate calling it "moral" because when arguing it to be absolute vs relative you people always gets it confused. What im arguing is not some kind of warld wide rule codex in our mind, it's what people THINK is right in their head, and that changes depdning on alot of factors one of them being their society. There is no god or any other reason for there to be an absolute moral law. So what reason is there to believe there is?
Morality has nothing to do with what people think. It just is. 1+1 is always 2 whether you agree or not. Killing innocents is always immoral. Loving your kids is always moral. Just because people get confused and mess up doesn't not negate the existence of morality. Just because you pretend like it doesn't exist does not change reality. It just makes you ignorant.
you have not in any way shown or proven morality is absolute, your "line arguement" is stupid, the fact that the very word "straight" tells us that the line is straight and it is a word we have a applied to that kind of shape. Morality on the other hand, what would match the "absolute definition" of the line, is to say that morals are the "right and wrongs" of a society, morals change over time and between cultures, give me one proof that moral is absolutem because your argument is flawed.
Morals do not change, just human perceptions of circumstances. We used to burn witches because we thought they murdered people and destroyed crops with curses. We still think murder and destroying crops is wrong we just don;t believe curses do it anymore. So we still punish murder. We just don;t believe witches can do it. Morals stayed the same - perception changed.
yes we still think destroying crops and tihnk "dark magic" (the ones who stil belives in that) is bad. But moral changed in the sense that we don't kill people for it THATS moral changing right there. A change of perception is silly because moral is ONLY a result of your perception and the way you think as a person. Take having slaves, we used to think it was okay to own humans now we don't, there is no minor change that you can make excuses for there.
no... im not arguing that.. clearly you don't understand the concept or you are merely trying to be stupid. I'm saying slavery isn't accepted by todays society and morals in the western world. But it was once, meaning it changed
I see - so you think slavery is moral as long as the majority says it is. So in your world mob rules.
Morals didn't change. It is always wrong and always was. Just because people in history have violated the moral law doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It is perception not morality that changes. To do it - they dehumanized the slaves to make it acceptable. See if they were animals then the moral law did not apply. See they knew better too - that's why they dehumanized them to do it.
And when morals fall apart so to the civilisation. American democracy, (laugh) is falling apart right now because America is morally corrupt. Anyone who doesn't have a strong sense of what is right and what is wrong will PROBABLY end up working for the SS, or something like it. Enjoy your holocaust. Look at Hitlers Germany and understand what happens when morals are trampled underfoot.
So true. People have a sense of right and wrong. Psyjax example of lying to protect someone is BS. Just because we choose between the lesser of evils doesn't make one of them not evil any more. Lying isn't made moral because you were forced to do it. Human rights are God given and morality is absolute.
there is such thing as a moral law there is no doubt about it

OK Genius... Since you think morals are just opinions and not absolute. What reasons would make raping a 10 year old girl moral? Ohhh please do tell.
Or is that absolutely immoral?

Exactly we're in the sewer - For instance Obama has no conscience whatsoever - anyone that can support partial live birth abortion is a sociopath.

There was once a time when that sort of action had not even been imagined. This world is going to get what it deserves.
