Do you know of an American pulp illustrator from the 1930s through 50s named Virgil Finlay. There are certain similarities. Heavy on the stipple.

Almost all the reviewers used the term "odd" when describing the book

Brendan McNally wrote a really great novel about Albert Speer called Germania. you should check it out, maybe get someone to translate it into Spanish.
