Has anyone asked why there is even friendly fire in the first place? It ruins grifball and living dead and I'm not going to even mention all the betrayals in big team battle with the tanks that have gotten me booted. 343 should just leave out friendly fire in matchmaking in Halo 4.

This just happened to me, except it was an idiot who kept trying to run in front of my wraith trying to purposely get run over, I was then being attacked by this guy who started shooting at my wraith and throwing grenades trying to piss me off, but then when the enemy came I stopped focusing on him and then charged at the enemy, totally forgetting he was still in front of me, accidentally betraying him getting booted then getting banned for 15 minutes... only to have him send me stupid messages!
why does it seem like when i accidentally betray someone they can boot me right away but when i get betrayed by someone who did it on purpose they have to betray 2 more times before i can boot them?!?!?

They really need to take away booting all together! I've been banned 3 times today because of accidental runovers with a ghost. I even say "yo sorry bro didn't mean to run you over", but do they care, fuck no! The booting system is better than it was, but it is still crap...for example yesterday I payed a game on Sword Base, my team mate Fire Yay with a rank of Mythic (with a K/D of 1 hahaha), who betrays me right off the bat as I got to the sword before him & was given no option to boot him, the game is 2 seconds old & the entire opposite team is still on the other side of the map, how is it possible that Bungie cannot boot this kind of player automatically, or at least give you the option to boot

Another big gripe I have is that when you are given an option to boot someone, why doesn't the screen tell you the player's current kill/death streak? This is a big factor in determining if you should boot someone. If someone has 20 kills and no deaths and they betrayal you obviously you wouldn't want to boot them. But someone who has 0 kills and 10 deaths should be booted because they are hurting your team. I would think someone at Bungie would have thought about this by now.

i usually forgive someone if it wasnt on purpose but when my team mate gets caught in the cross fire i get booted that annoys me to the fullest espically if i get a good killing spree ruined by a asshole
I think bungie should only allow booting if a person gets betrayed by the same person 3 or 4 times. This way if you betray on purpose you can get 12 to 48 betrayals (depending on the gametype) in before you're booted haha

The booting system works.... in my favor XD I dont know why but I can betray someone like 6 times and not get booted but when som1 betrays me I get to immediately kick them.
ps I never betray people purposely though, unless someone is trying to kill me first

almost everytime I get a betrayal I ALWAYS GET BOOTED EVEN IF ITS AN ACCIDENT I STILL GET BOOTED. I NEVER BETRAY ON PURPOSE.
