Why the heck would they "promote" like that? It's not connected in the least other than being another WB product. Movie and tv animation studios are in constant competition over there.
No. The Justice Lords were well-intentioned extermists. The "heroes" of this 'verse are genuinely evil and the "villians" of this 'verse are genuinely good.
It appears to be based off of the Crime Syndicate, but it appers we'll only see Owlman and not Ultraman, Superwoman, or Johnny Quick on their line-up.
James Tucker, producer of the show, stipulated that the name of this group of villains is the Injustice Syndicate, based on the Crime Syndicate. Love the alternate names for the villains: Owlman, Blue Bowman, Scarlet Scarab, Rubber Man, Barracuda, Dyna-Mite, Silver Cyclone, and Blaze.
The reason the show could not use Ultraman and the rest of the Crime Syndicate is because the rights were not available. I like this version of the group way better, though!
I think this is a 2 part episode (meaning it'll be a cliffhanger and resumed the next week) to my knowlage. But I have seen official Pictures for The Joker in the next episode. He looks pretty freaky and meanacing, with an old fashioned look to him.
No. Joker will appear in the part 2 of this episode. It'll be a 2 part "hour long" type thing, but 1 episode will be one week, and the other the next week, I think.

Red Hood is the good guy. SIlver Cyclone, Scarlet Scarab, Blue Bowman, & Owlman are members of the Injustice Syndicate.

he was inspired by the Ted Kord Blue Beetle
but he has INTENTIONAL similarities to Batman which is the better known of the two
i lie?
lilblkboi 3 years ago
You're working entirely on conjecture. Blue Beetle is who he is based on, plain and simple. That is KNOWN. Everything else is conjecture.

red hood is the joker i recognized the laugh and when he was being tortured by silver cyclone you can clearly see green hair and a blue face

whoa Owlman's silhouette actually lookz kooler thn batman'z
i wuz kinda expecting sum kinda rip-off of Watchmen'z Nite Owl II
lilblkboi 3 years ago
Owlman predates Watchmen by over two decades, dude.
kpenguin2x3 3 years ago
ino that
but this cartoon was made after Watchmen the movie
and DC could've used a similar design of Nite Owl for Owlman to subliminally promote the watchmen movie
especailly since Owlman plays such a big part in this 2prt episode
it's done all the time
am i right?

'Sides, Owlman's look's always been awesome.

Watchmen is a product of DC and so iz Batman
and DC has a long standing contract with WB
Watchmen isnt a product of WB
i dunno where u got that from
WB is jus the entertainment company DC uses to air their spinoffs
and the makers of watchmen got the idea of Nite Owl from Batman
they wanted to create a superhero that people could recognize without using an actual already exsisting hero
u kno what? nevermind jus go wikipedia it
i cant explain it all on youtube

I heard flash was supposed to appear in this episode, not sure though wikipedia changed the heroes and got rid of flash so probably not

This Red Hood is from a different Earth (23). At 1:00 Bats looks like Azrael.

That's because it isn't "Batman"

So, they're using Red Hood instead of Jokester as Joker's antimatter counterpart? I assume Batman's opposite number is still Owlman?

I know it won't happen, but in a happy, fair world, the Red Hood would be Jokester undercover.
I want animated Jokester D: so badly

The joker apears in this episode. I don't think they'll change his name, but they should.

Is it just me, or is 0:40 look like something from Batman: TAS? Does it seem like they're getting a tad bit darker by each episode, or is it just me?

Jeff Bennet played the Creeper in Batman TAS, so I'm looking forward to how he does the Joker next week.
