  • whats the pricing of that savage tool

  • these weapons are the most affective weapons ever.

  • I've got to get me one of those.

  • defacing U.S. currency to the point of which it can't be circulated is a federal crime....jus sayin

  • I like these old school videos more than the new ones where Lynn smiles and stuff. These are all business and so hardcore. The new ones are kind of fruity.

  • No no no we need a real human body, any idiot could do that

  • I've gotta say.

    This thing dominates close range.

But I prefer something longer *that's what she said*

  • I am a very proud one of the cold steel kukri. I use it when I go camping and at home. It is an amazing blade! If it ever came to it I would trust my life with it.

Seriously guys why is anyone upset about cutting a side of beef? Nothing is being implied except this is one serious bad add blade that will slice through damn near anything in its path!

  • "Wanka!"

  • That "fatty" is the president of the company and the designer of many of our products. He's spent the last 30 years building one of the largest knife companies in the world. What are your accomplishments? What have you achieved today? You said something stupid and ignorant on the Internet. Bravo. Well done. Go have a rest. You are probably tired after all that effort.

  • @JTolanful research Kukris and their cutting potential. I think you'll be surprised

  • Why would you buy a bent machete? lol. Who comes up with this...

  • press 7 for SLICE AND DICE ACTION

  • @mintyvision This knife has it has it's own attitude. It is a workhorse. As soon as you hold this knife in your hand you'll understand my meaning. As for our videos, we've been showing our knives strength, sharpness and cutting abilityl since 1980. No other company backs up their claims in this way. Sure, some of our tests are graphic, but when you buy a Cold Steel knife you're in no doubt of its capabilities. This is a Kukri you can trust your life to. We're very proud of that.

  • cold steel weapons... zombie apocalypse survival supplies.

  • I'd love to see the Espadas and Rajahs in San Mai III. They would be the ultimate knives.

  • @csknives I just dont understand why you would demonstrate your knife's ability with a comparison to a gun. Why not just cut threw tuff hard material

  • @Cudaman1157 We've also demonstrated our Boar Spears damage compared to that of a shotgun. We cut through tough material all the time (the Kukri we are discussing made a record cut of 15.5" of free hanging manilla rope in one cut!!! - that is extremely tough, fibrous material - many knives fail to cut even 1"). We also show graphic demonstrations against flesh and bone. This is one of those tests.

  • @csknives

Nice knife, but by they it is demonstrated it seems pretty obvious to me that the man was bullied as a kid.

  • I'm sure a .357 Magnum round has more stopping power than a Kukri at 50 feet.

  • @PrimericanIdol I agree. But in close range, there's no comparison

  • Is that just meat fibers and tissue or is there any bone?

  • @DevosHeineken It depends on the clip. There is often bone in there as well, but not in every shot. We also cut through ribs in some demonstrations.

  • Lol. What a joke. Using a gun to compare to a knife. Cool knife though.

  • @Cudaman1157 Anyone who knows us knows how much we love firearms (check out our DVD Never Unarmed), but we also know the devastating power of edged weapons. We've proven through extensive testing that under the right circumstances a Kukri can do much more damage than even a .357. It's a viable option. Remember we are also an international company with fans, friends and customers all over the world, and not everyone enjoys the freedoms we have here in the USA.

  • I can really use one of those. P.S. how the hell is that legal?!?!

  • What a relief. I've been looking for something that I can use to cut my silver dollars in half. Thanks, Cold Steel!

  • this is my dream job

  • so THATS how they cut bacon so thin, hmph :I

  • Stick to shitty swords its what your best at

  • @specialforces69: From 10 feet away into a target that large?

  • I am dumbfounded by the majority of these comments. If you can't understand the reasoning behind these demonstrations, then you don't need this knife....or any for that matter. He's comparing it to a 357 magnum because not everyone can own, use and/or purchase a firearm. These product videos are for the customer's use in mind. No, you can't cut someone at 100 yards with a knife, but you also can't make an effective, silent kill with a firearm either (no suppressor argument needed). IF this knif

  • That was the most American thing ive seen all day

  • @JTolanful well you cant get much more american than a gurkha's kukri.

  • @JTolanful i saw this fatty, jumping on a trampoline earlier.... gotta say it was more american than this..

  • you got blood on my knife mate.

  • If its the end of the world and there's no guns around...

    I WANT THE KUKRI.

  • Yeah, the comparison with the .357 magnum was pretty lame, the cutting through huge chunks of meat are actually also not all that impressive. In cutting through any creature's body part the hide and bone will provide the greatest resistance, flesh, on the other hand, yield rather easily to any sharp blade.

The hacking through the tatami mats and cow ribs were truly impressive though. This kukri sure can cut!

  • How can you compare a knife to a gun? Ridiculous, you have to take into account that the 357 has a gaztrillion times better effective range than a knife.

  • Comment removed

  • yes there is difference in stopping power, the magnum you stop him 10 m away.

  • This company makes excellent products no doubt about it,but they sure waste a s-load of perfectly good beef n pork.

  • @USAdude30

yeah i hope they baked that brisket and served it on bread later lol

  • @wazzy3007 Lol,,no kidding man,I mean seriously, that all looks like nice meat> who cares if it's been shot with jacked hollow points and Gurka knives, were guys, what the cripes do we care about such minor details. I say >BBQ! This gives me a idea for my next male bonding party for my buddies I throw every summer.Looks like I'll be buying a C/S Gurka for it:)

  • Go to 1:38

    *hmm nice video*

    *close the window*

  • @VinnyGameplay go to 4:24 hes holding it backwards never buy from cold steel

  • @iiSamples You dumbass hes testing a strength test

  • @nhpivotlk Interior Crocodile Alligator 10 hours i watched it all and loved it

  • @iiSamples God damn troll

  • @iiSamples he's showing how the back side can be used to hammer/smash. I'd buy from Khukri House for the win.

  • @iiSamples Which idiot uses the blade to hit a brick? His just showing the durability of the kukri, you fool. And Cold Steel products have good quality steel for the price.

  • @cnslpsbly I think it would blend the blender.

  • i got the kukri magnum machete, handle is pretty shitty but the blade itself is badass, good buy

  • Seriously need to find that music track, it's bad ass like Lynn himself.

  • Did he just compare a knife to a gun

  • I can't help but wonder why the hell he took a knee to shoot the .357...

  • Most strong Knife in CQB.

  • I really want this knife... that being said, if I had a choice between having my .357 GP100 and this blade, I'll take the .357 everyday and twice on Sunday. Effective blade: YES; Great chopping blade: Absolutely... more stopping power then a .357 MAG loaded with... any load: NOPE.

  • I bet that the blade is dull so they had to use baby chuck noris

  • He doesn't know jack shit about guns......

  • @SpaceGodzilla4242 Bet he owns far more than you do. Plus Lynn Thompson would take you to school on hand to hand.

  • カkッケエエエエエエエエエエエエエエ

  • I like the katana better.

  • @xx420warriorxx thats like comparing apples to oranges.

  • @teflonsmoov

    Oooh, that's apples, mate

  • the meat doesn't have bone...how could he compare it with his own arm

  • 2:26 LOL!

  • now im gonna shoot a block of meat with a .357 magnum... because i can....

  • Lol you cant compare a knife to a gun.

  • Why the fuck do all the demonstrators have to be fat ugly white guys?

  • Profesionals have standings!

    BE POLITE.

    BE EFFICENT.

HAVE A PLAN TO KILL EVERYONE YOU MEET

  • @Totalownedpwned

I WANT THIS IN TF2 NOW.

  • @over9000foottroll

It is in Team Fortress 2 wanker, Sniper's meele weapon is a Kukri mate.

  • @Totalownedpwned

    No i mean THIS kukri.

  • @over9000foottroll

Oh ok, yeah that'd be cool.

  • @Totalownedpwned TF2 Broutgh me here :/

  • @Totalownedpwned Badadadadadaaaaa

  • @Totalownedpwned Yeah, Snipers a good job mate.

  • Where's the jarate?

  • I have kukri knife but it aint that sharp :/ I cant get it so sharp no matter what i do

  • @michal1337 That's because its made in china.

  • SNIPIN'S A GOOD JOB, MATE.

  • with him using all his body weight he could cut the block of wood with a butter knife

and he can stand in a hallway for unbelivable stopping power

  • THINK OF THE STARVING ETHIOPIANS :)

  • and im a mormon.

  • you grab that kukri and give me the 357. magnum... and the winner gets to keep the kukri and the gun

  • @bdynamyte yeah but at what range?

  • @CookieMMMonster you have no friends.

  • Wow. Imagine you, with your girlfriend, at night, in the woods,in your car, and sudently...

This guy appears and starts doing that on your hood! 3:46

  • @Jeff8090 Worst. Computer game. Ever.

  • @Jeff8090 Give a 15 foot Katana a go.......

  • @Jeff8090 He'll still land on your skull.

  • You could chop someones head off with this knife. I think its closer to a sword than a knife.

  • Dear santa...

  • Dear sant...

  • 2:41 wheres the bone

  • Kukri vs. Katana. which weapon wins?

  • @HamonLord The Kukri wins. Katana stops when it's wielder stops. As far as Kukri go this imitation is a lot lighter then the think spring-steel ones Gurka make. Near perfect weapon for breaching enemy lines in trench warfare. Dead wielder will still come down with enough force to crack your skull.

  • @mryellow123 gurkha vs. samurai hand to hand. who wins?

  • @HamonLord those are 2 people. Was talking weapons. Remember how so few Greeks with long spears, high shields beat so many Persians? Remember how the US beat the Iraqi Republic Guard? Hint it wasn't the spirit of their troops. Samurai have a lot of training sure, when they aren't just arresting thugs. Katana isn't as heavy as Kukri while it is delivered in a more swift action, this is my reasoning for seeing the Kukri being so dangerous. Simply because it's still falling no matter what.

  • @mryellow123 the gurkhas are awesome, right?

  • I thought he was gonna take a bite outta the meat at 2:39

  • While I love my CS Gurka, the big guy in this video is a dork. "There's no stopping a gurka kukri"

If you were coming at me with that knife, I'd stop you with my .40 cal

You can't compare a gun to a knife you knob Lol

  • i love cold steel.. but some of their videos are just lame

  • Most of that was fairly impressive, but a coin made of pure silver? You can cut pure silver with a butter knife.

  • looks good. but not better than the one i've at home..

  • Bullshit

  • I always ask myself , do they eat that meat after...coz it looks so delicious :))))

  • he doesnt take human bone into consideration when cutting. cutting through bone should be quite harder than flesh but I understand hes trying to sell his product lol

  • impressive

  • LOL @ 4:25 he totally missed the target

  • now the guy shooting the gun at 30 yards away is laughing his ass off when the guy with the kukri tries to come at him....lol.

  • these videos must be so fun to make i really like how they review the knives and swords.

  • This is a great backpacking knife. It goes through trees like they are made of butter.

  • mhmm bacon!

  • Some guy named Kumar cut his girlfriends head off with one of these.... I didn't know this thing could cut through humans like we're butter... Gross

  • but when will you release the 357 kukri???

  • but will it blend? :)

  • thats a bad motherfucking knife

  • too bad pure silver is super weak

  • @nanolith777 depending of how pure is the silver. as example you can almost use pure silver wire to lace your boot. but if you use 925 silver which is using a alloy of copper in to make it stronger. there is more chance this piece was made of a stronger silver and not pure silver.

  • @nanolith777 I know he was acting like he just cut through steel.. lol

But the cinder block one was impressive. Not worth the $200 for one though. Unless you plan to be cutting through cinder blocks and large slabs of meat on a daily basis.

My $8 Tramontina seems to chop up anything I throw at it pretty well.

  • stupid comparison

  • Yea they are different weapons, but think about most likely purpose: self defense. A gun can get shot at close range as well, but only does damage in 1 direction. I think it is more likely you would be defending yourself in close(striking) range where I'd rather have a blade. You can't really claim self defense if you shoot someone from 20 feet away unless they have a gun pointed at you, which is (IMO) a less likely scenario

  • Th comparison with the pointless is pointless. I think he just wanted an excuse to buy a huge cut of meat....

  • This is the dumbest test to find out which weapon is better.

  • Damn, this is straight scary. Imagine when they used that thing on the Brits back in the days..

  • my guhrka kukri brought me hear. and my massive boner gave it a thumbs up!

  • Buy 4 cold steel kukris, atach each one by the handle:

NOW YOU HAVE A INDIAN NINJA SWASTIKA STAR OF DEATH

WILL CUT TROUGH THE SUN ITSELF

  • @DrCowenstein khukuris not fucking indian ¬¬

  • @DrCowenstein That would be like the shurikin equivalent of an elephant gun. I want one.

  • @DrCowenstein Five of them together and you've have the Glaive from KRULL!

  • Ow

  • I bet these guys have some fantastic barbecues after they do these vids.

  • @1465225568 They "carefully preserve" the meat then donate it lol

  • @1465225568 wrong, dude. All their meat that they used is carefully preserved and donated to charity places.

  • i think a knife is a superior weapon in close range but long range or even medium range a gun takes it, i dont see why you shouldnt have both, a gun and a knife

  • @beefdog Depends. In a hallway I'd rather be equipped with a handgun than a kurki even at close range. You need some room to use the kurki while you can shoot a handgun "from the hip".

The only advantages of the knife in combat : reliable, no ammo needed and silent.

  • he comparises handgun and knife... so stupid

  • I get that it cuts through flesh.... but what about bone?

  • @Piccolojan2 - Yes. This is an ancient weapon still in use by elite Indian troops. If nothing else a powerful strike would break the bone and allow the blade to cut through.

  • @AlienZygote010 mostly nepali troops use it

  • @Piccolojan2 if you watch the whole thing he cuts through like 3-4 bones on the huge cut of (rib maybe) meat

  • can a knife stop a bullet?..I think not..is this bullshit really necessary in 2011?

  • @5tonyvvvv Actually yes, there is a small chance that a knife can do that. Also, it is necessary to have one because not every country is trigger happy like yours and has every man and his dog owning a gun.

  • @5tonyvvvv - in close quarters as a last resort weapon, a blade is a good choice. It is also effective for quietly taking out a lone person, though a hacking weapon like this would not be the best choice for that mission.

  • @AlienZygote010 they can't scream when their head is lopped off

  • Why do coldsteel videos always make me hungry?

  • u carnt compair a gun with a knife the knife will allways do more damage the thing is its a gun it wasnt ment to blow a hole as big as a bears ass in the target it did what it ment to do a knife is made for slashing stabing and cleaving so its like why even bother

  • @abstar57 A Gurkha Soldier took on 40 train robbers, killed 3, wounded 8, and the rest ran for their lives. With this blade.

  • @TheNickhis thats my point u carnt compair a knife with a gun im not saying that a knife is better than a gun to injure ppl im saying that there is no winner in they both have strong points and weak points. ppl are more afraid of knives than guns for the fact that u will be cut and it will hurt alot more getting a limb cut of than getting shot.

  • to bad in the modern battle field u arent allowed to decapitate ur enemy, but still gurkhas r issued a kukri, 1 did decapitate his enemy but now he might be facing court marshall

  • this vied makes me happy

  • DO WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111

  • 38 people had tiny forearms.

  • @Sweetgherks Protip: STOP WITH THE UNFUNNY THUMB WHORE COMMENTS YOU UNTALENTED FAGGOT. GET A FUCKING LIFE KID

  • @PuntThePikatwo Haha, go back to /b/.

  • cut something with bones like a pig carcass

  • i dont see what is wrong, the magnum did what it was made to do, what are you trying to prove?..... that a gun can shoot it and a machete can cut it?

  • OMG I WANT ONE

  • Comparing gun and a knife is pointless. Kukri or no, with enough distance between me and an oponent armed with knife i'll just put a bullet in his head. Those are two completely different type of weapon.

  • Most powerful blade in the world!!!
