I wouldn't be so sure. Listen to any black metal band today. For example: gorgoroth has shreiked vocals, fast drums, and fast guitar. Bathory fits in that catagiry but not Celtic frost. CF has low guitars, low vocals, sometimes fast drums and guitars.

Thrash/black pioneers. And they're Swiss. They and Bathory formed black metal as we know it.
