why do ppl have so much against him hes an amazing skater and even for olympics in vancouver he didnt do a quad but me and atleast the judges thought he had better score in artististic and footwork/feild movements etc. im a skater and i hope i have a chance of being that sucsessful

But, the judges, who have slow motion replay, can still take an execution deduction for not being fully rotated.
Maybe he hates red-Oda's skeleton costume didn't make sense either nor none of Weir's for that matter-but it's all in good theatrical fun. Why analyze it? Just go with the grotesqueness of it all. :)
As a dancer and a dance teacher, picking costumes for any piece does not always directly correspond with the song. He more than likely wanted to incorporate 'bird' into his costume, and an entirely red costume would be very distracting from this piece, and red and black would create a very 'goth' aspect. I do think all black was a better choice.
It was vera wang and very "weir-ish". I'm not a fan of the feathers. Almost all of the guys are wearing black this year. I wish he'd punctuate the crescendo at the end with a jump instead of stacking them all at the front. The end of the program is anti-climactic. Stephen Carrier's choreographer made the end of his firebird a bit more fiery. I enjoyed Evan's long program (and black costume!) more.
Wachting this program again I have to say that everyone HAVE respect Evan's effort to improve his artistry in the last seasons. You may not love his skating but he had a huge improviment in his interpretation and his speed in the program.
ps: I hate those things in his shoulders (sorry i don't know the name hehe)

I don't like everything in Lysacek but I liked this SP. It's a good choice for an olympic season. His costume, I don't love it, but it was ok... I think it works with the music after all. I like his speed and the way he atacks the jumps.
IMHO I think he is a good contender for Olympic silver or bronze.
@KianaW166: No. Evan's costume was designed by Vera Wang. Johnny's are designed largely by him and brought into reality by Stephanie Handler. I happen to like Evan's costume. It has a bit of pizzazz without going over the top. I love Johnny and his costumes, but I know Evan's not that kind of a skater so I feel like this works fine for him.

short rotation on axel...he cheats a quater(like allways in many jumps)...bad idea of the judges to mark like they marked...

VERY good program, excellently executed... agreed improvement in artistry and technique.
The idea of moving one of the lifts to the end of the program is a great one, esp as v few do that.
As for the costume? Not sure about it either, it's not really "him", a change wouldn't hurt. And, yes it's much more Mr Weir's style of outfit.
