I am just starting out SCUBA diving and underwater video. I thought I was doing OK until I saw this, nice work!! Now I have a goal, get a better camera and some tips.
GOD is great! God is the creator of all in universe! Wonderful footage! This is indeed amazing. I have seen many videos on Discovery and National Geographic channel, but this is incredible footage. I wish I could go along with you under water. Are these tropical fishes inside water? Can you please send me a few fishes? I am from Pakistan and will pay you for this. Please contact me at my E-mail if it is possible for you to send me some small fishes: asifsurhio@gmail.com
Beautiful photography and some amazing macro shots, especially the pygmy seahorse. However, as to Lembah itself, it's way far off there and everything in this video, except the Richinopias [sp] and the spotted seahorse (and have been told they are there), I have seen in Bali and Bali is much more assessable, the diving is cheaper, and the resorts and food better.
I think for these reasons, quality of sea-life, resorts, food, and accessibility, Bali is the best diving in SE Asia.
Wow! This video rivals anything I've seen on Discovery channel or wherever....There are tons of fish that I have never even seen before. I really liked the shot of the Bengaiis and seahorses.
Great clip, excellent frogfish, octopus and nudibranch, very cool dudes, thanks for naming all the critters and for sharing this outstanding footage...Brilliant.
@sultanik420 At that stage I was using a standard definition Sony VX2000 camera in a Gates housing with Light and Motion Sunray halogen lights. For some of the macro I used a Hoya +2 or +4 diopter. Manual white balancing helps a lot with the quality.
lol! Actually there was a guy on my livaboard trip to the similan islands tha made DVD's of people's trips ... if you don't mind videoing people as well as wildlife.
Otherwise Darek Sepiolo might know - he has some cracking stuff on Vimeo.
if i make one more similan trip dvd i might strap a few weight belts round my ankles and jump overboard! er... "been there done that" you might say... can be ok money in the short term but not a way to make a living. i'll check out darek. cheers
Very nice video. I realy like your videos (especialy is nice that you write the name of fishes and other see inhabitants). Keep up the good posts mate.

@CloudDiver1977 Good luck! Make sure you can get a camera that you can manually white balance underwater.

People say that most fish with funny colors are poisonous, are that true?
BoilerRider 4 months ago in playlist More videos from bubblevision
@BoilerRider It's not always true, but some poisonous fish do advertise their toxicity with bright colours. It's called "aposematic coloration".
