Mac is a good machine no doubt but is not as cost effective in the long run as a computer that runs Windows or Linux as a machine that runs Windows or Linux is typically upgradable you can add or replace parts more easily than a Mac computer thus further extending the life of your machine. If you need to replace a part or upgrade a Windows/Linux machine you can easily do so with no need to buy a new system. All apple products are not as easily upgradable.

That is not possible. You can write an app that reads many common formats, but not a Universal File Viewer. Unless maybe you just look at he bytes written in the file, but that is hardly what you are saying. Anyone can come up with a file format. I bet I could write an app that writes out a format that it won't read dude without much effort at all. Once again, Mac users are lied to and taken advantage of for not knowing any better.

i can tell you i had a alienware mx51sys with vista, after three weeks i got my first blue screen and then the problems never ended, now i have a mcbook pro (1 year) and i still got not even one error msg. and my personal view is that vista is the worst crap OS i ever had, i´ll never again tunr back, if i need a win softwar i can use bootcamp or better fusion to emulate win and ready without any problems .
Mac are not so bad, well there is as you said the programs not wanting shut down. Hope you never put a DVD in one you may never get it back, they get stuck all the time. Good news they removed the DVD drive all together on the MacBook Air

I'm thinking of switching from PC to Mac, but I need to know if Mac's offer any addtional features vs. PC's for gay porn (lost of gay porn pictures and videos)?
Most of my gay porn pics are high-definition (over 10 mb for each picture). Some of the gay porn video's are well over 40 GB each (direct Blu-Ray rips).

Dude, OS X can run half life 2 just fine with either Crossover, Darwine, or Parallels. And if that's not enough, you can install windows on boot camp.

How you think it's better then linux, I don't know. But to use linux, you need to waste countless hours getting it to work, waste a bunch of time compiling (and learning to compile) applications, not to mention FIND a kit of menu options...
Also, OS X is based off BSD, which is more unix then Linux is (google GNU).
Based off of FreeBSD. I decompiled FreeBSD and OS X and guess what i found. EXACT COPIES AT THE BASE. OS X is FreeBSD with a little bit of NextStep. NextStep is th GUI and FreeBSD is the core. They didn't develope there system one bit. They just pute things together. The only thing i hear about it is that it has all these graphical feaures. Blea. Thats it??? WOW. thats sad.
Oh and to expand, your very point is disproved by the fact the Kernel types are completely different at the base. Mac OSX is a Micro kernel and BSD is a Monolithic kernel. Mac OSX has BSD processes.

Windows 7 maybe an RC right now, but trust me, when the finished product comes out their will be a stream of problem in Windows 7...I can guarantee that Windows 7 will have nothing but problems as previous versions of windows have had problems.....

well.. I prefer windows, for quite a few reasons, it's very easy to customize it, create software on it, play games, windows 7, and btw for the virus thing, if you have a good anti virus you will never get a virus... I have used pcs now for my whole life and i have never got a virus.....

The MAIN reason why pc's crash so much is downloads! when pc users need to install some software, they need to make sure they are safe. Which is why they need to install 20 other antivirus programs. Once they get all of these, they relize that more than half of them HAVE viruses, so they try to delete them, but oh guess what? too late!

Unless maybe you just look at he bytes written in the file, but that is hardly what you are saying. Anyone can come up with a file format. I bet I could write an app that writes out a format that it won't read dude without much effort at all. Once again, Mac users are lied to and taken advantage of for not knowing any better.

i can tell you i had a alienware mx51sys with vista, after three weeks i got my first blue screen and then the problems never ended, now i have a mcbook pro (1 year) and i still got not even one error msg. and my personal view is that vista is the worst crap OS i ever had, i´ll never again tunr back, if i need a win softwar i can use bootcamp or better fusion to emulate win and ready without any problems .

Mac are not so bad, well there is as you said the programs not wanting shut down. Hope you never put a DVD in one you may never get it back, they get stuck all the time. Good news they removed the DVD drive all together on the MacBook Air

I'm thinking of switching from PC to Mac, but I need to know if Mac's offer any addtional features vs. PC's for gay porn (lost of gay porn pictures and videos)?
Most of my gay porn pics are high-definition (over 10 mb for each picture). Some of the gay porn video's are well over 40 GB each (direct Blu-Ray rips).
Can Mac's handle this amount of gay porn? If not, I'll stay with PC's.

Dude, OS X can run half life 2 just fine with either Crossover, Darwine, or Parallels. And if that's not enough, you can install windows on boot camp.
But Team Fortress 2 runs just fine on my Parallels virtual machine, no complaints here :D

I can just download all the same stuff for my PC , including virtual desktop, and the mac style dock all on my PC. I always like getting a PC and change things about it to make it more personalizable. After I pimp my PC it always makes me feel good. Mac users use it as is out of the book. whats the fun in that.

The thing is, mac users don't WANT to change all that much in their OS, because there's no reason to. It does what we want it to do, and does it fast, beautifully, and fast.
How you think it's better then linux, I don't know. But to use linux, you need to waste countless hours getting it to work, waste a bunch of time compiling (and learning to compile) applications, not to mention FIND a kit of menu options...
Also, OS X is based off BSD, which is more unix then Linux is (google GNU).

Based off of FreeBSD. I decompiled FreeBSD and OS X and guess what i found. EXACT COPIES AT THE BASE. OS X is FreeBSD with a little bit of NextStep. NextStep is th GUI and FreeBSD is the core. They didn't develope there system one bit. They just pute things together. The only thing i hear about it is that it has all these graphical feaures. Blea. Thats it??? WOW. thats sad.

Oh and to expand, your very point is disproved by the fact the Kernel types are completely different at the base. Mac OSX is a Micro kernel and BSD is a Monolithic kernel. Mac OSX has BSD processes.

Ok. Why don't you decompile the kernal samrtass. Tell e what you find!!! 'cause what i found was more than just a microkernel. You do know that a "microkernel"tries to run most services - like networking, filesystem,processes, etc. - as daemons / servers in user space. So as you see, I have corrected you on youre lie that osx has BSD processes. And OSX does not use micro kernal. It was used in OS9 and later. Okay, To be correct Mac OSX is Hybrid based of the Mach kernel. Which is NOT BSD, BSD is Monolithic. It was designed to replace BSD.
So no I'm not going to decompile as you can already get the source code for the projects. To say Mac OSX is only BSD is a complete lie.

Mac lepoard you can only get with a mac, so to get it you gotta buy a mac PC with low specs, costing around £800-2000
Getting a good solid PC with vista ultimate and MS office pro, you get more tech specs at much less of the price
Put simply:
Get a good quality PC with less graphics for £700, or get a bad quality mac with good graphics for £1200

well.. I prefer windows, for quite a few reasons, it's very easy to customize it, create software on it, play games, windows 7, and btw for the virus thing, if you have a good anti virus you will never get a virus... I have used pcs now for my whole life and i have never got a virus.....
and my computer(s) have only crashed 4 times.....

Compare them at the same price point, and then see what happens.

It crash before i got all of the programs i needed. i could not even try to run it. it even was on 64-bit vista. till mac lets you be free the Pc is a better world. but they can do that because they will be a pc then. that is were the problems start.... just think about it.

dude most of this stuff Mac and Microsoft are fighting over was made 30-40 years ago when bill gates worked at apple. both sides were one. (yes a lot was put out first with linux and still is but with Mac acting all Communist with one is all is stuff linux will sadly git little lime life. The MAIN reason why pc's crash so much is downloads! when pc users need to install some software, they need to make sure they are safe. Which is why they need to install 20 other antivirus programs. Once they get all of these, they relize that more than half of them HAVE viruses, so they try to delete them, but oh guess what? too late!
