The reason they sound so clear on this clip is because Top of the Pops is not live, except for sometimes the vocals. They are miming. But I love their raw live sound...

I'm pretty sure it's live... I know top of the pops rarely allowed bands to perform live but this is completely different to the recorded version. They left out about 8 bars in the middle and pete sings most of the 2nd verse differently

The music is exact to the single version- the band has never sounded this clean playing the song live. As soon as the drums started playing I knew it was the recorded version, the only difference being Pete singing live.

The girl is Gemma Clark, who was Babyshambles first drummer but she left because she said she couldn't watch Pete kill himself with the management doing nothing. The guy who replaced her after is named Adam.

it looks as tho they're not playing it live, apart from pete's singing, coz it's too perfect, they have parts where the sound faded in and out exactly like the record which you wouldn't pull off live and Pats fingers don't move when it does a close up him playing the guitar parts. It sounds like the notes are getting higher in places and changing fast , yet his fingers remain in the same position throughout the shot?
