  • At 1:21 the viewers finally got the correct angle to see what the ref saw!

Sweed put his hand on the corner back's facemask and PUSHED HIS HEAD.

If Sweed had kept his hands on the corner's chest it would have been a non-call.

However, Sweed put his hand on the corner's facemask and PUSHED HIS HEAD away.

    Pass Interference on Sweed!

  • sweed is a steeler..!!

i hope next season he can make catches like this..

that call was b/s.. that was a definite touchdown.

  • Wow, I was on an airplane during this game so I never saw any of it. I was so mad after I found out the score that I didnt want to think about it anymore. That is a 100% terrible call.

But that being said, we should have scored at least 30 on that team, so blaming the game on this one bad call would be going against one of my biggest pet peeves. They should have been able to win anyway.

  • as much as i hate the longhorns that was a terrible call

  • yo the call was bad yes i agree with that but the longhorns have gotten away with its fair share this just had to be critical in the game

  • A bad call that had an adverse effect on this game. I never realized it was that bad a call. Thanks for sharing the clip.

  • Receiver has the right to push off if the corner is holding him. It was unfortunate that it was in the face. The ref that called it has one job, and one job only on that play, but he didn't do it. His job is to watch the receiver and the corner the whole play. The corner has the right to grab, touch, and do whatever within five yards, but Gorrer did it beyond five yards, and he did it while the ball was in the air. It should have been no call, or off-setting calls.

  • No such thing as a "5 yard rule" in NCAA football. That is a NFL thing

  • That's a good point. That was my mistake.

Obvious offensive pass interference on Sweed!

  • It is a shame the ref looked at what happened at the end of the play and not watching Gorrer holding on to him until Sweed pushed off. It is obvious on this video that Gorrer was holding Sweed.

  • hands to the face makes it automatic in the refs eyes
