  • Only problem is the short range of the key fob. Not really practical for remote start.

  • @Deanzsyclone

True... the factory keyfob has a range of 150-200 ft... if you need more the starter has a port that accepts antenna kits for up to 1 mile range and also accepts a cellular module that allows control via smartphone from anywhere in the world...

  • @Deanzsyclone

Do you have a dealer in Dominican Republic to to that in my ML 550 (keyless-go)?

  • Can you do this for W140 Benzes?

  • @Forgoten214 yes but any standard remote starter will work for W140 platform

  • i have the exact same thing and cost me around 300 :D

  • @jorgec30 Not for a mercedes you don't ...... A corvette ZR-1 and a ford escort both have engines but a corvette engine is *not* the same thing as an escort engine and one is *way* more expensive than the other.

You simply cannot use a regular remote starter for the new mercedes...

  • no not the same car i meant that my remote start does the exact same thing and its for a 09gto

  • Where are you located and do you have something that will work with the W209 CLK 500?

  • We are in downtown chicago IL and the smartkey starter is available for the W209!

We also have professional dealers throughout the US and Canada so we can also find a suitable installation location that is local to you.If you have any more questions or want to find a dealer, feel free to give us a call at 312.421.1114

  • how much

  • typical price is around $999 installed for the SUV's

  • Does it work with a manual?

  • ya it dose I just got one installed in my 5 speed and it only cost me $300 but that was just for the labour

  • Do you gave to turn it to run slowly so that you don't put it in the start position?

  • Looks like you guys did it again! You never fail to amaze me! Good job, keep up the good work!

  • I agree

  • Can you do it without Keyless Go? If you can, do a video of how to do the authorize takeover without Keyless Go.

  • Yes, we have a universal version designed for any smartkey vehicle. The key takeover will operate like a normal remote starter: you insert the key turn it to run and control is passed back to the driver. check out our newest video to see this in action
