  • 'Rudy' is way up on my list ~ it's an amazing movie! 'The Shawshank Redemption' ~ great movie too ~ also WAY up on my list. I'm surprised 'The Green Mile' didn't make your list. You seem like the Green Mile like'n type. [You just viewed my top 3 list] A few of your top 20, that I didn't list, would also be in my top 20. Of course, there would be several chick flicks too ~ can't be a woman without enjoying the occasional romantic, sappy, happily ended, tear jerker. :-)

  • I was wondering when you would finally make it to Driving Miss Daisy! Thought I might have to come down there and slap some sense into you for leaving it off your top 20 list, but you snuck it in at the very end :)

  • @breezinbyyou You know I couldn't leave Miss Daisy off the list! LOL Thanks for watching.

  • Aww... I like you and I just started watching your vids... :)

  • I like a lot of Sci-Fi and I can think of two off the top of my head that I love. I'm a bit of a Trek geek & when "Star Trek: First Contact" was out (on VHS) I would watch it every Saturday for MONTHS on end!

The other one I liked to watch (as did several of my college roommates) was Equilibrium with Christian Bale

  • I rarely watch films more than once - the only exceptions are Casablanca, Blow Up, The Graduate and American Graffiti. So I would be struggling to make 10 let alone 20!

  • Brian you have several good one's there, even if you can't name 10 or 20. LOL Thank you for watching! I hope you are having a wonderful week. -Jim

  • A lot of those movies would be in my top 500...LOL I'd have to do a top ten by decades starting from the 1920's...LOL

  • Hey Caylyn. You sound like a big movie fan. Maybe you need a screening room at the new village. LOL Thanks for watching! -Jim

  • I must be missing out somewhere... I have only seen three or four of those movies and I had a busy weekend...

  • Hey Andy. Glad to hear you had a good weekend! Or, I assume that busy is good for you as in lots of fares.

  • Busy is profitable but exhausting!

  • I just had to come back and watch it 2 more times..GOOD VIDEO..you have a good presence on camera keep it up!!! 5/5 stars

  • I not one to watch movies over and over. I already know the ending so I don't like to watch them unless I can't remember the ending.

  • I finally saw "Wall Street" a few years agao. Loved it. But it was hard not to bust out laughing at the huge portable phone that one of them was talking into on the beach.

What were saying about wacky technological advances on that other video? LOL

"Hotel Rwanda," "Shawshank," "Dead Poets" and "Sling Blade" all had me bawling like a baby when I first saw them.

I won't admit which ones on your list I haven't seen yet.

    8-)

    Ps.HI, JIM!

  • Cool, Curt is waving HI and talking movies! What are you up to this weekend? You and Al should make us a video. Yeah, I'm home on a Saturday night looking for YT entertainment!

  • HA! Yeah, I can relate. Unfortunately no video here for at least a few more days. Had a case of swimmer's ear that got a wee bit out of hand for a brief moment and it's still taking its sweet time to GTFO.

So, yep, I'm here surfing the web for infotainment as well.

    WE ROCK!!!

    ;-P

  • Curt I feel for you with that swimmers ear. I had that a while back and finally had to get some antibiotics to knock it out. Very painful. Hope you feel better soon!

  • Barb I like the sleeper ones also and some of the art house films. I've just got one from Netflix I'm going to watch this weekend called "Local Color." You have a good weekend and stay away from all that flu up your way. I just read your FB post and hope your niece is alright! -Jim

  • Enjoy the film! We are very concerned about Rosie, she is just as sick as a dog. Thanks for thinking of her. No social activities for her this weekend and I think it is a first in a long time!

  • Jim, great picks! I do not have many movies that fall into this list at all because I do not like to watch a movie more than a couple of times and that is only if it is good. I would have to say that my list is: The Entidy, Robinhood Prince Of Thiefs, What Dreams May Come & Rainman. That is about it for me. Not saying that there arent a lot of other good movies out there but these are the ones I have watched more than twice by choice. HUGS xoxoxo Have a great weekend Jim. We have rain!
