Need For Speed 3 Hot Pursuit is a classic, i think it had set the bar for alot of NFS games there after, but NFS HP 2 kinda went down the tubes for me, all the games from here on out except for Pro street were all great, in my opinion of course, im glad they tried to go back to some kind of regular racing, they had great ideas in the game, dont get me wrong, it could have been better, of course, this is just my opinion, dont rip on me please for expressing what i feel of the game franchise...

They should take the realistic driving sim physics from SHIFT and put them into a street racing game (which i've never seen anyone do before). They could call it Underground 3 and bring back a combination of everything thats good from NFSU1, NFSU2, and Carbon

hell yea, that would be cool, i played Shift, and its awesome how it MAKES you the driver, and in a street racer, that would be awesome, but something kind of like that idea is in Midnight Club LA, it was pretty cool, bet every game has its own physics for cars, MC LA fell just a little bit short of expectation in that aspect for me, but the race world was enormous, i guess some games just have to sacrifice one thing to make something else better...

MCLA has driving sim physics? lol no. The driving and handling in that game are pure arcade. It even pales in comparison next to GTA 4 (made by the same company) which has way more realistic driving and its not even a racing game. But MCLA is meant to be arcade. And the graphics, in-car dashboard view, and environment are very well done
