halo 3: isloation, high ground, citadel (not too bad, but hard to spawntrap). I didn't play much H3 so I don't really know the maps well enough to say anymore.

Halo reach: the cage, sword base (the worst fucking map in existence) powerhouse (random-ass spawns), think twice, enclosed, boardwalk (kind of), android, redemption. these maps suck. sorry to your precious "expert map designers" but they fucked up.

@scratchpost no, but when 90% of intelligent halo reach players are saying this, I'm pretty sure I'm right. Bungie literally said the cage was just a random map some employees made in forge for fun. that doesn't exactly sound like the professional playtesting procedure you mentioned earlier.

@scratchpost several reasons: the spawns are shit, people spawn right behinf you at least once a game.

there is way too much head glitching (people crouching behind corners so they can shoot you but you cant see them. and map design leads to very campy playstyles, such as bottom snipe, tower, or cage camping. finally, the entire map dynamic is broken by the jetpack, as people can just fly across the entire map, making strategy and coordinated assault useless.
