  • yo dude keep your hips up like ur moving ur hips in a circle and try and kick your face harder with ur right leg and swing harder with your left leg and keep your hips up high when u hav both leggs up

  • The Funny thing for me was that while learning all my powermoves, Right from the get go i had perfect form but took me longer to learn them LOL, well i guess cuz my dad taught me MILL'S when i was 6 so that helped

  • in the point where your legs are in front of you keep them straight and balance yourself back so 70% of your bodyweight goes to the ack. most problems with flares is the person cant hold their legs straight try stretching be4 u begin.

  • dude u look like ur scared..... try to lose the fear if u cant do that then u have another option "muscle memory" try to do the movement slowly dont strain ur self to do a flare cuz u might endup hurting so just do it slowly and try doing other power moves 1st like simple swipes and windmill windmill will help u get the v-form and swipes will help u with the revolution and circular motion ....btw how long have u been doing flares? or practicing?

  • you are trying to land the flare but you cut the move in the middle of it, for example you have to keep your feet open at all time and close at the end of the round, you close them in the middle of the round

    And of course : PUSH UPS !!!

  • ok what these guys are sayin is hardly true mk? the number one thing killing you here is that ur practically jumping into ur flares,you need to sweep way lower,and work you flare upward,and make doubly sure that you catch urself with your right hand a lil bit faster.

  • fundamental power first dude, not trying to be a jerk, just saying straight up. flares without conditioning your body is near impossible. even your kick up needs alotta work

  • holy crap, ur starting position is disgusting. Do not bend ur left leg like that. If u want to get lower, bend both legs. U have to SWEEP with ur left leg! that is the most important part of a flare. YOU MUST NOT JUMP AT ALL, NOT EVEN WITH THE RIGHT LEG. I know it will feel weird the first time u sweep completely, but its the right way and it feels much more comfortable. Its common sense: you jump,then ur body is going to go straight down a moment after.Swing ur legs around smoothly,no jumping!

  • are you right handed? cuz if you are then try going the other way cuz its much easier. I know because I'm a righty that goes counter clockwise also like you, but just try going the other direction but don't quit with the directrion ur going right now. cuz I've been practcing going with my left hand and you'll get the hang of it.

  • what cho said. i no u dont wana hear it but you need to start from scratch and sweep the leg rather than jumping into it. thats stage one sweep the leg then raise it as high as you can at the front

    first thing, work out your triceps and abs itll help.

    second-your form is a bit off but is really getting there. kick a bit faster and with your non sweeping leg try to kick your head when u start the flare.

    then when u get around put your other hand as fast as possible to the ground to swing your hips. then, maintain your sweeping leg in the air and follow thru with the hips to go back.

    at your pce youll get them in a matter of months. Keep working!

  • it seems to me, that you need to work on ur arm muscle more so it will be able to hold you in the air longer, and strech more on ur legs and try to hold it more straight, so you can rotate it freely and faster...=D

  • Flares dont NEED strength, but it's recommended.

  • no dude, there's a certain muscle that you need to work on, on ur arms that helps you lift yourself, I even worked on those muscle and its easier for me to stay up longer. I don't mean like work out with weights.
