Honestly most of the issues with Vista were fixed after the first Service Pack. They then rereleased this version with a different taskbar and other minor changes and called it Windows 7, so people wouldn't be put off by the name.

I got Vista on this gaming laptop, works sweet as hell. Dont care if I have windows or vista, but vista I think is better. Had windows all my life until I got this laptop, and I havent gotten errors or anything at all. Works hell of a lot better than windows.

i installed it on the same pc (2nd hard drive) and its just slower..

XP isn't as good as win7 with multiple cores and stuff

less driver support for new hardware...

I have had no problems with multiple cores on XP as well as Win 7

I have no issues finding drivers for my hardware.

Soon it will have better support for newer hardware because it is losing support in three years. However for now XP is just as good as 7 and can do the same with lower specs. That means more power for my games and less for the OS. I am running quite modern hardware with no issues at all.
