AAAAHHHHH! 3DB! Brilliant! I'd forgotten about 3DB. Man, am I going on a nostalgia trip... An era that didn't have idiot DJ's who don't know their arse from their head... and didn't babble on about their own stupidity for most of their time slot!
The "Mellow Fellow" Barry is alive & well, living & working at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Still doing interviews on the Bealtes & Rolling Stones.
Hello, many thanks for songs you just dont get today, mch appreciated, but i'm trying to track down a song from Brian Hendersons Bandstand, "Go Away Little Children", I dont't know who sang it - a blond haired chap, it was a great song as was songs by Rob E G and Noelene Batley especially "Kung Itchawa Uka Chung" Japanese for "My Little Treasure from Japan" i think can you help - many thanks 60s, 70's 80's enthusiast
The producer needde a well earned "Christmas Holiday" so I'm negotiating with companies to come up with even better clips that will really be worthwhile tuning in for.
Well put together but that poor 3DB microphone sound could never match The Greater 3UZ may have been that the studios were in the basement of The Herald Sun Building. The voice on the Coke Adverts is the one and only Kevin Goldsby still going great in 2010.
I didn't realise that DB has those weird Top of the Hour "Pips" as well. I remember UZ having them.
I've always wondered why they did that.......

Great memories for me, I was 16 and rock music was all that mattered. My 'portable' radio complete with 2kg battery was always with me.
I believe Barry Ferber is alive and well in Las Vegas these days. Thanks for the post.
