Absolutely agree. ACtually, they did break up after their "Renegades of Funk" album, i'm pretty sure. That's when Tom went to Audioslave, and soon, chris cornell (frontman of Audioslave) went solo, and Rage got back together.
Whatever they said to the PR people is irrelevent. If they really wanted shit to go down, and just wanted people to do it on their own, like there was such a huge movement in 2000 when they broke up, they might have figured they wanted to lead somewhat normal lives, and let the people who are the REAL change (US) take the movement to the next level - CUT THE CORD. Rage came back because their message is needed more than ever during this idiotic election time. Their music is not only phenomenal but their message is brilliant and logical. They as a band, grew up and saw that they have the power to make people think with their talents and now they are back to show that they can unite people against a facsist government that doesn't give a damn about anyone except for the rich. Yeah, I know he has, but when they broke up I had heard the other members wanted to get back together but Zach had not been interested. I had thought they would get someone else for any reunion show.

President Obama is working to connect the energy grid & bring in green solutions, bring migrants out the shadows, ensure health insurance for all, and provide quality education for all. He also is working hard within the system & supporting the capitalist values of "the machine". Like Erykah Badu says, doesn't matter who you are, you can't go into a bowling alley and tell the owner you are going to make it a skating rink- but Obama has people paying attention which is what we really needed.

thanks to discovering them in 99 I caught a lot of shit after 9/11 for actually daring to question the assumption that AMerica is essentialy good. THanks to Rage i was part of the "I hate Bush" crowd BEFORE it was cool and politically safe to be so.

The most epic concert Ive ever been to. So much respect for these guys keeping the struggle going. I always figured they broke up because they wanted shit to happen, and the time was right for a real movement beyond the music. THen... Only war and greed flourished. But now it's commin back around again! Seriously it was the best feeling, knowing Rage was right there protesting with us, against the war and against imperialism. SHUT DOWN GUANTANAMO! END THE FUCKING WAR!

Absolutely agree. ACtually, they did break up after their "Renegades of Funk" album, i'm pretty sure. That's when Tom went to Audioslave, and soon, chris cornell (frontman of Audioslave) went solo, and Rage got back together.

Whatever they said to the PR people is irrelevent. If they really wanted shit to go down, and just wanted people to do it on their own, like there was such a huge movement in 2000 when they broke up, they might have figured they wanted to lead somewhat normal lives, and let the people who are the REAL change (US) take the movement to the next level - CUT THE CORD. I remember the moment they broke up, announced on MTV that moment I died a little inside, thinking id never see them live!

Rage came back because their message is needed more than ever during this idiotic election time. Their music is not only phenomenal but their message is brilliant and logical. They as a band, grew up and saw that they have the power to make people think with their talents and now they are back to show that they can unite people against a facsist government that doesn't give a damn about anyone except for the rich. Just look at our economic crisis... That is just one part of the bullshit!
