@GandGoldstein I have not served but I am strongly considering joining the Marine Corps. I love our troops. I am not very old by comparison. I am however very politically active. I am a strong Conservative, but I understand that although I may agree with certain aspects of fellow Conservatives' views, I truly understand the importance of thinking for one's self. Most people I graduated with are very Democrat/Liberal. I just don't see any logic in that. Thank You for your service to our nation!

Take a look when I post it, and It'll explain my beliefs as to why Obamacare is wrong. There's a lot that the people have been kept from. Secret Service agents have said many things about the President including: "I don't trust the man!", "Never before have I protected such a deceitful President!" "He says one thing to the people, then turns around and does the opposite"
Bush wasn't the smartest President. But none who are in this class are being taught anything short of indoctrination. @realworldbycj It is important to appreciate the fact that the topic was discussed in a analytical manner after the fact. The purpose of the video was to spark curiosity in the classroom and attempt to open up the minds of the students. Obama's healthcare plan is a complete separate issue irrelevant to my presentation of the USA Patriot Act, just as fluoride in the US water supply and chemtrails in the sky would be.
@johndoegeorge Agreed. They are two completely separate issues. But my point with "Obama's healthcare" remains the same. It appears as though you're attempting to switch the argument to work in your favor. I agree with trying to intrigue the students' minds. But the way you presented it, only left one conclusion. Bush was terrible, and the USA PATRIOT Act was/is Constitutionally wrong. Isn't your presentation supposed to let them draw their own conclusions? Hence my frustration.

My intentions were not to portray Obama as the savior and George Bush as the president who ruined the nation (or anything along those lines). On the contrary, both are horrible presidents and I don't think we've had an honest president since JFK. I'm not saying they're good or bad people, but I feel (along with a growing percentage of citizens) that the president answers to groups of people who's identities are kept private.

The only president I gave credit to (toward the end) is Thomas Jefferson and I mentioned another founding father Benjamin Franklin. It's unfortunate to watch their work become undone over the years. They warned it would happen.
@realworldbycj Since my presentation Obama has extended the USA Patriot Act thus going against what I think is right, which is to repeal the USA Patriot Act; hence the purpose of my presentation. The USA Patriot Act is completely unconstitutional. Obama's Healthcare plan (or any other plan for that matter) only solves problems people in higher echelons of society have created and only detracts from the overall prosperity of our nation. We need less government intervention.
