i was in a recruiting office, set to leave for boot camp on 9/11/01 and seeing this on TV made me proud of my decision. i've seen pictures of the towers for the last ten years, but seeing the one slide with two people falling, holding hands, while one's feet burn just made it so personal. i know "they" decided to take the footage off because of pictures exactly like that one, but you don't realize the pain and suffering that happened that day without them.

I think the events of 9-11 should be rebroadcast on a regular basis. Too many people have forgotten, or just don't care about what happened that day. Such disrespect for the lives lost that day. We didn't just lose the heroes on the planes, or the people in the WTC or the Pentagon. We also lost hundreds of emergency workers who went into those buildings to help others. No one wants war, but the enemy brought war here that day. We either fight them in Iraq, Afghanistan or we fight them here .

Today is the 7th anniversery of 9/11; and every anniversery, and everytime i see a memorial of some sort to the victims. I re-establish my vow of vengance. This song says that "the experts say the images will breed anger." I say let them. We need to be reminded that unless we stop them, these people will keep on killing.
