I saw this when I was about 11 or 12 (simply because Kate Mulgrew was in it haha) but it was actually very very good! I enjoyed it a lot, which is saying something because I haven't really ever been a fan of thrillers...but a great great movie.

When this was originally released I think it got a bad rap, but it's pretty good! I think critics wanted to dislike whatever the director of "Friday the 13th" had to offer.

I like how Rip Torn mumbles his way thru his role. Good characters all around.

I have to modify my comments. I made them after watching the first half of the movie.

Cunningham devolved into "Friday the 13th" territory as "Stranger" moved to its conclusion.

Too bad. It had a lot of potential.
