I'm 15, shot my first 300 last year bowling 2 handed. I believe I've had a lot of success and progress after switching from one to two handed. Check out my vid
lol 250 average haha. Well anyways I'm a two handed bowler as well and 2 things: 1. you kept moving your feet and never stood in the same spot to begin with on your approach and those one or two boards you kept moving makes a difference down the lane. It seemed like you were throwing it out and was just praying for it to come back. The best thing to try and practice is 2. work on throwing the ball up the middle, the middle of the lane is the safest place to bowl. PMP=practice makes perfect.
@supericarlyfan1 Id how to measure rpm, but i usually throw around 18mph, but i need a new ball because the one i have now is dead. I f i get a new one that would hook more id probably throw around 20 mph. My average right now is around 190-200ish
@oTGFoMOBSTER I said 250ish, which means from house to house I bowl at I range an average from 225 to a 260 over a six game period and I bowl four to six days I week so yes I do average about that.
@supericarlyfan1 I got like a 245 average, just a rounding though. How long have you bowled? I'm 14, have a Storm Invasion and Tropical Heat Black/Silver. What balls you got? I plan on doing sanctioned soon so i can recognized better, i've been bowling for about 5 months. Went from single to two handed but can do both, good for some situations to know them both, and so is being able to throw a good back up ball.
@MurderousPandas I have been bowling since I was three so twelve years considering the fact that I just turned fifteen. I have a Hammer Jigsaw Corner, Brunswick Slingshot, and an Ebonite Maxim Captain Fireball spare ball. They are all fifteen pounds.
@supericarlyfan1 I've been bowling for like, 4 or 5 months, my uncle is a PBA member and so is my dad, so i got some bowling in me i guess from the past. I bowl 15 pounds as well, it's the most common weight and easy to handle and hit the pins more effectively. I'm more of a Storm person, i do however try other bowler's balls to see what they got going on, and that did not come out how i expected it to. But considering the fact that bowling is about balls, something is always goin to sound funny
Username GrowtheSport has uploaded vid lessons of how Jason Belmonte does w/ his two handed delivery. Check it out. It really helps comparing to your current playstyle.
Here's my observation: You stopped your right hand after the release point. Push through after the release. One user here mentioned it's all about the footwork and follow through. You by far need a lot of adjusting if you wanna keep your two handed delivery.
im a two handed bowler as well and my average is around 230 what helps me is that at home with a soccer ball i practice my foot work and try to keep my balance then i go to the lanes and throw a couple games. you need to work on your balance so just keep praticing you will get it
@guffnuh actually depending on your style is how versatile your going to be its all about your skill level with the way you bowl i used to bowl one handed but since switching to two hands i can throw the ball alot faster which helps me on drier and shorter conditions and the revs i get help me on the heavier oil
i admit i was rushing, but also when i made this video i had no idea how to use the boards so i just used the dots which was pretty quick and simple, but not good
Bowling! I LOVE bowling... but I only end up going a couple times a year it seems. I guess if you're managing to score 222 points in a game I shouldn't say anything about your 2 handed throwing (instead of putting fingers in the holes like it's meant to be done). Whatever works! Lol! Hey, check out my new video out this week... me in Egypt (Karnak). @Neilfan12
Sigh. It's not nice to lie about your averages kiddos

Try not to rush to throw your ball..... go smoothly and bend lower a little to get a higher swing
