Great job. I have often wanted to have an 8 string, but never would I have considered trying to play it fretless. Especially with your speed and amazing intonation. I will say the low strings sound a little thuddy for my taste, but fit the music.

@Ariethil There are some. For 7-string there are Conklin GT-7 (Groove Tools) and the Bill "Buddha" Dickens signature, they are GREAT. There are also 7 and 8 string Galveston (UB-7000 and UB-8000) but their quality isn't the best...

@XxJamesJawsxX Yes they are bass strings, they are on an extended range bass. If you want to see the point in a bass with more than five strings look up Jean Baudin (not metal) or Jeff Hughell (particularly his album I Came To Hate, it is nothing but bass no guitars at all).

@ErikTiwaz HI ERIK, youre a major influence to me as a bassist. i too play extended range fretless bass, and i concur, the low string is practically inaudible when mixed with the rest of the tracks, we tune to G,C,F,A#,D#,g,c (7 string guitars and bass) i tend to transpose an octave higher when the guitars are on the low G below the 5th fret
