Not to be an ass, but in terms of expense airsoft clearly wins.

For $800 you can get a Systema, which is as good as AEGs get in terms or realism (it even takes accessories for the real AR15) and for a little more you can get a Inokatsu M4 GBB, which is basically nearly the same as a real AR15.

I can't understand how you can play this but you can't play airsoft in Australia.

that battle plan for the reds was a very poorly made plan. leaving one man to defend a flag and leaving their right and middle flank open is a very dangerous tactic and will most of the time make you lose. though the blue were using the turtle technique (defensive perimeter) and cutting off the red team from the bunker was very smart and very dumb. all the reds need to do is walk around them and that bunker would be useless also when attacking or defending an objective you leave more to defend.

@Jacko459 What do you get out of paintball that you couldn't enjoy with SATR guns? See the Army don't practice with paintball kit but UK forces have practiced with the Military-grade SATR equipment. I've seen a military grade HK 417 SATR gun and they are closest thing to a military weapon, they rock! There is nothing paintball can offer that is better than this kit and the gameplay it produces.

@Jacko459 So that's why I don't like paintball. I like BfL because I could shoot you from 250m and you wouldn't even know where to look! I like it because you don't wear a load of sweaty gear that mists up. If I play I dont need to keep buying paintballs - that are only effective over very short range, there's no extra cost. I like it cos the game-play can easily be changed to give more scenarios and finally people can't cheat or claim they didn't get hit, the technology sorts that out.

Most paintball sites are dumps because with old tyres and rusting barrels lying about the place, theyre often just some household rubbish away from being a landfill site. How is paintball lame? It's lame because the wind can blow a shot off course, lame because you can see the paintball fly and fall short of any decent range and lame because the gameplay is shite old wide-games that dont relate to a combat scenario.

No it isn't lazer tag.

Yes you can shoot through undergrowth if part of the infra-rad signal can reach the sensor you aimed you make a hit.

No paintball isn't a manly option, it's lame, weak and most sites are dump.

The guns need sounds and lights cos when you get hit, your enemy aren't visible only their 'muzzle-flash' can be seen or you might hear the audio.

The effective range of the 'sniper' rifle is around 300m, that means accuracy you don't get with PB or AS

I've played this, alot. This isn't the liveliest vid nor the best action scenario but they're showing a Live-play game and the tactics.

Some comment asked why they don't wear bills(peaked) caps, these guys are veteran players and it's possible for the peak to lift and block the sensor.

@jjx6766766 Actually with the SATR system you can select how many Hit Points (lives) and what ammo you get on boot-up. But generally your C.O. chooses this for you, depending on what weapon your gaming gun is emulating and what Live-Play you are doing

@flipkuh yes, but they are ~ $1,200, just for a gun. you still need sensors, a REF gun, a key (to change the emulation), extras (claymores, flags, etc.) and PPL TO PLAY WITH. but yes. they are for sale.

good video i dont know about all these people saying airsoft is better. i mean yea paintball is better but then you have a nasty clean up not just yourself but the land too. and the price compared to laser tag type guns is way too much. with paint ball you have to get the balls and the compressed air. in lazer tag you just recharge and thats it. the downfall to lazer tag is you cant shoot through leaves where paint ball you can. but what the hell is with the airsoft people. i mean paaaleaasse

It would be good if the laser guns actually looked and sounded realistic. And you can only shoot at someone's gun to get a kill (although at some places you have a helmet) I'd much rather go airsofting.
