  • @richpin06a ok thanks.

  • @richpin06a in order to take out the fuel injectors. do u have to remove the whole rail? they don't just unscrew out?

  • @omarG19100 The rail in on top of the injectors so yes the rail has to be removed.

  • @richpin06a my 98 saturn sl1 has 180,000 on it and i got it running on castrol high milage 10w-40, but can this engine run on synthetic oil? someone on youtube said that older model cars can't because synthetic oil is thin and will leak through gaskets. and if it can run on this oil do i hae to completly flush the engine or the oil will mix fine?

  • @omarG19100 I have heard it is a waste of money to put synthetic in a high millage car that being said in my 98 sl2 with 164,000 i use synthetic with no problem.Drain the old ,new filter and fill er up.

  • @MRJUANHERNAN1 Have you tried to replace the broken ignition lock cylinder.

  • @richpin06a NO......I HEARD THAT I NEED TO GET IT FROM THE DEALER BUT I THINK ITS GOING TO BE REALLY EXPENSIVE AND I DONT GOT THAT MUCH MONEY.......IS THAT THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT UP AND RUNNING BY REPLACING THE IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER....IS THERE A WAY TO DISABLE THE SECURITY SYSTEM.......

  • Richpin06 - Thanks for the video! I was able to change out the my Fuel Injectors in an hour on my '98 Saturn SL1. I'm sure this saved me a couple hundred dollars in labor. Thanks again.

  • Different electrical connectors on the 02' SOHC, blue clips. Anyone know how to get the off? Do you push, squeeze, what the hell?

  • Rich: Any advice on cleaning up the injectors once the rail is removed, or better to install new one(s)? Also, any chance on an intake manifold gasket install video in the future??? Thanks for all the help.

  • @whitew9743 If you can afford it new would be better than cleaning. If a car comes along that needs a intake gasket i will be sure to make a video.

  • Awesome thanks! I have high HC's at my 15 mph and 25mph California dyno SMOG test. I"m also losing pressure overnight. I'm hoping a leaking injector can answer both questions. I'll remove the rail, then reattach the fuel line, pressurize the system again and see if the injectors drip.

  • the song in the background is from rise against i think

  • I have Snap On ratchet, and also a SK one, both are good.

  • what a nice ratchet, what brand is the 1/4 ratchet.
