i was punched in the face while in oklahoma county jail by a C. O. for resting my hands in the elastic of my pants (not against the rules and very common) he passed me going the opposite direction and told me to move my hands ...i said fuck off...then he came back to me punched me twice and then my cell mate who was behind me in line grabbed him ....then all gaurds started hitting us...once the aggresser (the guard ) was drug away from us we were sprayed and cuffed .....good times good times

@badpanda84 check out prison conditions in Finland or Norway example. compare to usa they are peaceful places, prisoners are still treated as a humans and they can get physiatric help if needed. even lifetime prisoners can call to their families everyday and meet even 3 hours at time their family members. its because nobody want to make 'bad' to worst and goal is always try to make them do better in society when they are free again.

They say they provide family counseling but the thing is the officer has to request it. and an Abuser will never ask for help. i can only comment from reading individual cases from the initial act,the capture,the trial,the sentencing,the appeals,and the final decision on each individual.Those who genuinely admit to the crime,will accept the punishment given after all avenues of appeals have been exhausted.The jury system should be scrapped.Death is final,whether it is the victim or the perpetrator.Every case has something unique that does not allow a statutory system of sentencing to be put into place..
