  • Quantum mechanics goes directly to religious questions and makes the idea of Creator useless, because one of the conclusion of it states that things got created without any reason at any moment of the time... So author, kill yourself

  • All I see in this one is the Quantum Mechanics field theory. Maybe you should have named it that. As far as religion and science is concerned they both occupy two different places. One should not tell the other what to do or what is right or wrong unless one has a degree in that field. But neither field should infringe on the other's domain . This is a historical problem and is still one today. God does not teach us technology God teaches us what is the right thing to do morally.

  • the universe operate information and energy just like you computer does with electricity. there is no real difference between electrical signals in a computer and those in your brain. the only difference is that your brain operate high frequent pulses as hight voltage tesla discharges into an interference of plasma current. the same thing happen in the universe a a whole. deep down its just interference patterns of waves all of it. particles are needed to make the math work with constants.

  • information and energy are equivalent. mass is just information divided energy.

  • Right on, Spot on, and Bring it on - Fantastic potential for the correlation between the Creation and the Creator- Mike Wood

  • I thought this was a video on philosophy not on quantum mechanics.

  • E= MC^2 is not the full equation either and quit plagiarizing a god into science.

  • if you want to have a true scientific discussion then don't through in the word God in your professional discussion unless you don't wan't people to look at you like you're a nut.

  • It's interesting to see a video stating observable facts and information, coupled with a well done presentation, being given a thumbs down. Perhaps the most humorous aspect of it all is that we haven't even gotten to the God part yet. Interesting. Thank you for this video. It is going in my favorites, hopefully to be accompanied by the rest of this series. Cheers.

  • turn down your mic. i dont wanna hear your saliva.

  • Who the F#%$ are giving you so many thumbs down?

I thought your presentation was great and all based on facts!

  • Pretty good video.

  • @samgee2007

Like who? Now you got me interested :)

  • @UNFFwildcard ! hey ratard read al quran everything is there.I know you are trying to redicule islam!.....buzz off

  • @UNFFwildcard Right the Muslims have been brainwashed to believe all sorts of nonsense. That's why their countries are so backwards. This brainwash does not help them in the least. It's time to do some reality check if they want to join civilization.

  • @samgee2007 If Islam were so great, Islamic countries wouldn't be so backward. Christianity --especially starting at the time of the Reformation-- brought about by far the most advanced civilization the planet has ever known and by an extremely large margin, in terms of science, technology, social justice, etc. One must judge a tree at its fruit.

  • @AlloBruxelles you call us advanced, and yet, there are so many arguments against that. scientifically, we're finding out just how little we know about the universe. sure, we have some pretty good approximations of reality, but no theory is absolutely perfect. technologically, we're more advanced than we ever have been before, but this can be said of most points in history, but not all. ie dark ages. Social justice? you surely jest. our society is full of hypocrisy and injustice left and right.

  • @me835 You missed my point. It was all about relativity: "If Islam were so great, ISLAMIC COUNTRIES WOULDN'T BE SO BACKWRD. Christianity --especially starting at the time of the Reformation-- brought about by far the MOST advanced civilization the planet has ever known and BY AN EXTREMELY LARGE MARGIN, in terms of science, technology, social justice, etc. One must judge a tree at its fruit." It's a work in progress of course. The gap between the West and the Muslim countries is abysmal!

  • @me835 ... besides, we are in a post-Christian era in the West and it shows in many areas...

It seems also that we have gotten it wrong in theoretical physics e.g. judging how little fundamental progress has been made over the last decades... something fundamentally wrong with our assumptions probably...

  • @samgee2007

    Fuck off retarded illiterate shitlim!

You fucking barbaric assholes have nothing to do but to randomly waste internet space for your desperately shitty religion and can't even put a meaningful sentence together! LOL

  • @samgee2007 yeah, who and when??

  • This is very interesting in many levels, one because I've always been interested in the nature of the universe through Einstein's eyes. This does shead new 'light' on what was in his mind and my understanding. Keep it up!

  • It is interesting that we hear so much about the quest to achieve absolute zero, but so little about any efforts to achieve a maximum temperature. I would guess that a lot of mysterious (and perhaps useful) phenomena would occur at extremely high temperatures, just as superconductivity and superfluidity occur near absolute zero.

  • @thund3rCR4CK3R

I think its because its easier, and because the resultant products are stable. You could perhaps get some interesting phenomena, but it gets hard to study it when the nuclei are breaking apart.

  • @thund3rCR4CK3R I'd say we're closer to being able to hit absolute zero than absolute maximum. God knows what absolute maximum even is haha. I'd imagine absolute maximum would trigger nuclear fission in every atom in its path starting a chain reaction that would wipe the whole planet out long before it died down. Then again what the hell would I know.

  • Max Planck is the genius behind the Quantum paradigm shift with his quantum theory and discovery of quanta, but I still argue that the discovery of Cathode rays by Michael Faraday and the beautiful equations of Maxwell are the foundation of quantum mechanics, or would you say the pre-foundation of quantum mechanics.

Who would you consider the founder of the paradigm shift, and who would you consider the person who most contributed to it?

  • While you're right that Maxwell and Faraday made important contributions to quantum mechanics, I said Planck started it simply because quantum mechanics is literally named after the light quanta that he proposed.

  • @UNFFwildcard I agree that Planck is the father of quantum mechanics. There is nothing quantized about cathode rays and Maxwell's electromagnetism.

  • @ogirv101 Maxwell's equations are the foundation for Special Relativity, the pure classical shit, and I don't understand how you could make connection with quantum shits... Maybe you are just lack of knowledge. Your comment is 2 years old, hope you got smarter

  • Continued @AnonEyeMouse

Why don't you follow your own self-righteous verbiage, and stop responding back. If you respond back, you being a hypocrite, will be confirmed.

  • I was working on a presentation on the time line of physics manly about quantum theory

  • What does this have to do with God and Cosmology?

  • That was very well done UNFF,

that was pretty much the introduction to quantum mechanics I had in my physical chemistry class and you seen to understand it well enough to explain it.

Looking forward to the continuation of the series

  • Dhorpaten : what does that mean the @xxxxxxxxxxx

help improve my tube etiquette .

  • I am doing my best to see the connection with quantum physics and God. I am by no way claiming I know, I just do not yet see what duality and particles physics has to do with God. Although I do like the direction this is heading. In search of the GOD particle, what ever that may be it's just a thought .

  • Rest assured. Everything in these videos has a future purpose.

  • I don't exactly understand how this applies to anything regarding god and religion yet, but I'm sure you will get to it soon enough (assuming I haven't missed something).

  • i learned this in chemistry...

  • Chemistry? Really? I would have put it in physics myself...

  • It's both, really.

  • All your points and arguments lean towards Deism and a Deist God. Yahweh is not God and his "holy word" is not consistent with the Creation. God's natural laws are all that is needed to govern the universe. God gave us reason, not religion!

  • In order to talk about a theistic god, you must first talk about a deistic god and establish the basics.

  • Well said. Great video too btw.

  • @djarm67

Your made up God doesn't exist. Lacking a primary attribute, it has no identity, and cannot instantiate secondary or relational attributes, as it lacks kinetic actuality, and kinetic potentiality.

Your made up Christian God is disproved.

  • While I agree that god does not exist, I think it is wrong to attack someone like djarm67 for his belief. He, along with UNFFwildcard, accept all scientific proof. Their belief in a god is not harmful because they do not try to go against science. Along with people like Ken Miller, these are the people that need to be heard. Religion is not going away, so when they show that you can still accept science and believe in god, it is beneficial. They are not preaching, so what is so bad about it?

  • @mnsportfan28

djarm67 has insulted me on a prior video, and has engaged in subjective, Fascist censorship.

Although I don't agree with your self-righteous labeling of my comment as an "attack", djarm67's behavior has been antithetical to Christian tenets.

  • Which video did he insult you in? I'm subscribed to him and I don't recall it. I'd like to check your claim.

Even if it is true, I'd still advise against such a direct attack in this particular comment section as it seems misplaced and out of context. If you have a debate ongoing with Djarm67 on this topic I'd say keep it to the appropriate comment lists so people can follow it in it's entirity.

One final point, christian tenets are as diverse as christians themselves... ;)

  • @AnonEyeMouse

    A) He insulted me on a Knowntje video, calling me a spammer. Which, not only do I find insulting, but was a lie, since I didn't spam his videos, or channel, and he has no proof of such. Spamming is a subjective insult anyway. Any comment someone finds disagreeable, could be labelled "spam".

    B) Your comment about "direct attack", was appallingly self-righteous and exaggerated. if you want to see a verbal attack, I'll give you one. That's not it.

  • A) I asked you which video, please be specific. You claim he insulted you - I want to see it. It's a positive claim so I'd like you to provide evidence of it. Not doing so will pretty much invalidate your claim, certainly in my eyes.

    B) Your comment was a direct attack because all it did was attack djarm67's personal beliefs. It had nothing to do with the video or the comment posted. Was it vulgar? No. But it was a direct attack because it had no other purpose.

B.2) Yes, I'd love to see it...

  • @AnonEyeMouse

    A) watch?v=40Gj8j-UUbE&feature=channel_page

His insult of me being a spammer is in the comment section

    B) My comment was about the Christian God. What does the title of this video say? If it says "God", then my comment was on-topic tangentially.

B.2) By your self-righteous ways, you're clearly not worth lowering oneself to immature barbarity.

  • Okay I watched the video, which was a debunking of one of yours. Thus you were the topic at hand. I found DJarm67's comment in which he does indeed call you a spammer... He claims you spammed his channel comments several times. Looking through his channel comments back about eight months there are numerous posts by you to him and the vast majority are aggressive and insulting.

Now, that is no comment on the validity or not of the points you raised, merely on the way you raised them...

  • Your aggressive nature coupled with your inability to 'agree to disagree' could well bring you under the umbrella of a spammer. I don't mean that as an insult, merely an observation - as you say yourself, the status of spammer is a subjective one.

I find it odd that you would be so insulted by that word considering the vast amounts of insults you yourself use as a matter of course... In our short exchange you have called me self righteous and declared me beneath your insults...

  • I don't mind really, but it does seem to edge you towards the realm of hypocrite.

I also note that in the video you cite, Knowntje claims to have unblocked you. If this is the case, why not comment there? Why comment here instead on a video with the weakest of links to the topic you raise.

Also, why have that running exchange on DJ's profile comments rather than have it in PMs, which would provide you both with more space to flesh out your arguments and sources?

    Yours is curious behaviour.

  • @AnonEyeMouse

I find it very disturbing you went through

that much effort, to verify Djarms's comment. It suggests you're biased towards him in some way, as in a friend or fan.

  • That's an interesting way of looking at things...

I went to all that trouble to verify your claims...

I'm a sub to DJ, but not a fan or a friend except in the loosest sense of 'all folk on my side are my friends'.

I felt I had to follow up your claims to see if you were telling the truth, because that would inform my opinion of any future videos DJ makes.

Context is the key to understanding.

Sorry man, I call more on DJ's side in this than yours.

Thanks for the civil comment, though.

  • @AnonEyeMouse

"Sorry man, I call more on DJ's side in this than yours.".

    ^^^I'm shocked. Totally shocked(sarcasm disengaged)

You can side with people who take away the free speech of others on subjective whim and petty disagreement all you want. Judging by what I've seen of you, it surprises me NONE.

  • This is what I was talking about when I mentioned your inability to 'agree to disagree'.

I went to the trouble of trying to verify your claim and on reflection, did not think it was warranted.

You could just accept that I don't, nor do I have to, agree with you and move on. You didn't though... and this is the kind of behaviour which, over a couple of weeks, would warrant the term spammer.

You claim DJ took away your free speech? Your comments are still up on his profile for all to see...

  • @AnonEyeMouse

    A) It is starting to become evident that

you are a pretentious hypocrite. I'm not saying that conclusively, but it looks that way. Since you are telling me to agree to disagree, you could do the same and stop replying to me. Not doing so, you are guilty of what you are accusing me of, which is not agreeing to disagree, and let it go.

    B) When someone bans you, it doesn't automatically mean they also deleted your comments. What's wrong with you?

  • A) I see we are back to personal attacks.

    B) This is the first time you mentioned him banning you. You left a comment one day ago on his page... as far as I know you can't leave comments on profiles of people who've blocked you.

The point about agreeing to disagree would not have been raised if I had not posted.

But, in that mode, I agree to disagree with your claim that DJ insulted you and that you are not a spammer.

    lets move on.

Take care, hope you have a good day.

  • @AnonEyeMouse

"This is the first time you mentioned him banning you"

^^^Well, looking at the comment archives, it proves you're wrong, since I mentioned it to mnsportfan28.

"as far as I know you can't leave comments on profiles of people who've blocked you"

^^^As far as I know, you can be unblocked,

    after getting blocked.

  • 'djarm67 has insulted me on a prior video, and has engaged in subjective, Fascist censorship.'

You mean this? Point to the part in that sentence that says DJ banned you...

'^^^As far as I know, you can be unblocked,

    after getting blocked. '

Unblocking some one is the act of a 'fascist censor'?

    Really?

    REALLY?

I notice you rejected my suggestion to move on... seems it doesn't matter if I want to agree to disagree or not... you are still going to spam my comments.

  • @AnonEyeMouse

"You mean this? Point to the part in that sentence that says DJ banned you"

^^^That's what I meant by Fascist censorship. His unjustified and subjective block.

"Unblocking some one is the act of a 'fascist censor'?"

    ^^^The initial blocking was.

"I notice you rejected my suggestion to move on"

^^^I notice you continued to lend credence to the notion that you are a pretentious hypocrite.

  • "That's what I meant by Fascist censorship"

Considering the pendantic nature of so many of your comments, you don't get to be this fuzzy with your words... That would be hypocracy.

You say your blocking was unjustified. I disagree, from the evidence. Blocking has its place for getting rid of trolls and those who just throw insults.

Your continual insults are grounds enough to ban you from a channel.

One wonders why you feel the need to present such an aggressive persona.

    Compensating?

  • @AnonEyeMouse

Well, let's see. You have insinuated insults to me, that I'm a troll, a spammer,

insulting, and aggressive. So that's hypocritical on your part. You keep talking about agreeing to disagree, and moving on, but you refuse to move on, and seem insistent on getting in the last word. So you're being a hypocrite there.

    Continued....

  • rofl

    Ah good one dor

  • @djarm67

    What's a "dor"?

  • Bravo! Encore.

  • Thanks for the series. It's nice to see a believer in god not resort to lies and distortions.

I am curious, however, what part a god does play in the universe. If, as you've mentioned, the big bang, abiogenesis, and evolution is true, it would appear that the universe is capable of managing itself without a god figure. So where does your idea of god come into play?

Again, thanks for this series. I've subscribed. :)

  • "where does your idea of god come into play?"

I can't speak for UNFFwildcard, but many Christians believe that god guided these processes.

  • you are doing what DonExodus would never do when he was a Christian--make a simple video on God!!!

    amazing

  • Is don an atheist now?

  • No, he's an "agnostic"--err, because he couldn't answer this question--not even kidding.

    "why jesus over zeus"

Which he answered in his "Why I believe in God" series. Me and Kabane basically ripped him a new one--in love of course :P

  • Don also didn't seem very adept at history.

  • He wasn't interested in his faith, seemed like, I am no one to judge. But we must be active in God, and I think that's what happened.

  • It was only a matter of time for Don to deconvert.

  • @Knowntje

I am starting to suspect you secretly have Christian leanings, and God believing tendencies.

  • @knowntje

nah I'm thinking more about scientology, I love science fiction

but yeah I regulary ejaculate on a crucifix, does that count?

  • @Knowntje

"but yeah I regulary ejaculate on a crucifix, does that count?"

^^^With sickening and profane comments like this, I should be wondering why YOU have as many subscribers as you do.

As usual, you never let me down in your disgusting ways Knowntje.

  • I aim to please

  • the DonExodus2 channel is a science channel. He is a biologist.

He said he bases his faith on the New Testament and personal experiences. How do you know he's not active in his faith?

  • Someone mentioned on Agnosticman's channel that DonExodus recently claimed to be an agnostic on one of his videos in the comment section. That blew me away. Don't know if it's true though.

  • @HonestDiscussioner

Don't know if it's true though.

    ^^^It's true.

  • He did say this, I read it and was floored by the comment. I guess the lure of the dark side is irresistable.....lol.

  • If the lure of the dark side was irresistable he'd have become a Creationist.

Let's remember who the dark side really is here :-).

  • Great Sunday morning video.

  • Well done, keep em coming mate!

  • Another good video.
