And in a chrono where 1/4 of second is important to see, it is essential to say that ^^ :-)

My car for example made 5.5s for a 0-100 KMH but only 4.22s for your 0-60 MPH ^^

thus this chrono there is not for our 0-100 kmh but ONLY for your 0-60 mph & your chrono for a real 0-100 kmh is longer

if you want calculate a true 0-100 kmh see your chrono at 63 mph or 62.14 mhp precisly ^^

The HHR's transmission is geared for acceleration, at least. The PT Cruiser I drove had acceleration that was acceptable for a 4 cyl in a heavy car, right into 3rd gear. What were they thinking? On the PT, it shifts into 3rd at 60, but it is only pulling ~4K rpms! The motor is just dogging, I couldn't get it above 70 going uphill. Good luck passing anyone above 60 in a PT, at least the HHR was geared properly.

The Manuals arent TOOO bad. Course im used to a 95 Z28 LT4 mod. My best friend stole my Maro one night and gave me her HHR to follow her. It wasnt bad for a 2.2. She wasnt used to my Maro. She looked down and was doing 85....in a 45 LOL

I always try to defend my hhr when people call it a slow car but I understand why they say so. The automatics are just painstakingly slow. I'm really lucky I picked up one of the few manuals out there.

If you ever get the displeasure of getting inside of an HHR look at the RPM gauage from an angle...its paper thin and so is the needle...like a PT Loser except less quality...if thats possible.

You know which engine this is? We got a HHR LT, i'm pretty sure it's got the 2.4 in it, it's still slow but not as slow as this one. I'll get a video soon of a 0-60, or some racing, if i find anything it can keep up with lol

It was an LT with the 2.4 (ecotect or something). Go ahead with your 0 - 60. I will like to compare. At least you like the HHRs. I find them beautiful (not fast, even the SS). If i had one i would do some big mods on it. This was a rental.

@uakronsam116 Well, on the trunk door it has an "LT" logo and if i check on Chevy's web site, the LT is 2.4. I remember i opened the hood and i can only remeber an "Ecotec" or something, but i would put my hands on fire and say it is 2.4 but i'm almost sure.

the 2.2 is also offered, and both the 2.2 and the 2.4 are the ecotec series.

The 2LT model HHR has the 2.4 in it though

Well I have the SS and if you go check out my vids I do 0-60 between 5.5 and 5.8 depending on my launch! The whole 7 seconds they say in the mags are lies. Mine is the auto too! See for yourself.

It must have one but not so low. However if the car is stopped in parking and you try to to rev up to the limit, it will cut at 4000 rmps.
