@vans1107 Well, it isn't as small and light as you think. With it's heavy quattro drivetrain, a stock S2 weights ~1520 kg (Or 3350 lbs, for you americans...). A stock caprice 1B weights 1600 kg (3527 lbs) according to wikipedia. So not that much difference there...

True, but what should we use big and comfotable cars for over here? In europe it's completely useless to have 300+ rwhp when you can't drive the car on snowy mountain roads. We have high gas prices, small villages, tight corners on mountain roads and hard winters so european car manufacturers made small, practical cars which do well on snow and can take corners. An old (And even the new ones) american V8 car is totally useless over here...

There will always be a faster car, it's all just a matter of how much money someone drops into it. Actually I think you souldn't compare old V8 muscle against something like an S4. They both are great and fast cars but with a complete different design of engine, drivetrain, chassis, basically everything. We all know that american cars are made to be fast in a straight line!
