This is the DOHC 32 Valves V8 (most likely to be a Cobra or Saleen). It's not in the regular Mustang GT. The regular GT gets the shitty OHV 16 valves V8.

True, they just added an extra intake valve such as on the F150 V8. So yeah 24 valves total for the new OHV V8.

yes a SOHC 3v/cyl system in the 4.6 but that engine is gonna get replaced by the more powerful 5.0l v8 32v dohc motor that's coming.

Hey NSX, you have no clue what you are talking about.

1) The video is called "Ford GT". Not Mustang GT, FORD GT (as in GT40)

2) All Mustang V8s are overhead cam. ALL OF THEM. The last V8 Mustang to have an OHV was the 1995 5.0L. The last V6 Mustang to have OHV was the 2004

@elsosome the old 5.0 was infact a pushrod engine, but its a very high reving one, the old boss engine was said to rev up to 9000 - 10, 000 rpm, and if you built up the engine it would give you around 1500hp with boost.

euhhh the 4.6 liters v8 for the standard gt is a SOCH 32 valves v8 AND FOR THE FORD GT ITS THE 5.4 DOCH 32 valves v8 from the mustang shelby cobra
