I don't know about the DVD cover, but back in the VHS days I rented this from an indy vid. store. The VHS cover had an illustration of this hot, long-haired hippie-type chick's face superimposed over a cityscape with the tagline "A Dracula on Drugs"

Talk about false advertising! There's no Dracula, no vampire chick, and a only a slight drug angle. Its about a mutant turkey man!

Best moment: the old man narrator has a coughing fit during his commentary-and they just let that camera roll!

A lot of exploitation films try to justify themselves by cloaking their work in the guise of being "cautionary tales" or "religious films". The co-director did a lot of nudie films back in the 50's so I doubt his moral message was on the level.
