to anyones who has a wireless adapter, unhook that from the back of your xbox and hook it up back to the front where the 2 usb cords are! its worked for me yesterday because i was stealing internet and black blackops and i had 4 BARS FOR HOURS!! then i went to 3 because there were some laggers in this one game but then when they quit, i went back up to 4!! but after you do that go to system settings, memory, click y on controller then clear the chace out!! linksys was the internet i stole!!

He is probably a Ham Operator and I'm certain the antenna is grounded since it's mounted on a tower (this would distribute/ground a lightning strike as any good antenna installation is grounded). The length of the antenna has to do with the operational Band as he stated in the video. Satalite Dishes bring in and have an amplification effect on weak signals. The whip antenna he has is designed for specific bandwidth the lenghth indicates what bands.

Or, perhaps maybe a J pole somewhere around the low 6m range but,,,,, I don't see no "j" :-) You want to increase your range, use seperate Parabolics for T and R and lots-O-amplification. But be careful with the watts. Remember, 2.4Ghz is the same frequency that cooks you food in the microwave. no standing infront of your radiator or else you'll start to sizzle

I have my ps3 in my bedroom and my router downstairs. 802.11g is faster than 802.11b so use 802.11g linksys with WEP encryption dont buy an 802.11n because most laptops and the ps3 doesnt support it my download rate for demo on the ps3 is about 6mb a minute

The difference between B and G are the way spectrum is used.

G gives better speed at the cost of range.

Reason being that B's lower speed modes of operation perform under lower S/N ratios that do G's lower speed modes.

It's not *Just* the antenna or *just* the power.

It's a combination of both quality recievers

and managing spectral in

your coverage footprint and measuring managing/being aware of your signal path dynamics.

AHAHAH man a di-624?? Read on the box of the product and you'll see why the di-624 will never work. I'd suggest going with a Xdi-725 made by Xyberware. It's cheaper than a di-624 and it'll never get over juiced
