nice, i hav a corsa 1.2 16v with induction kit, do u kno if induction kits change the exhaust gases or watever as i have my MOT soon and wondered if it wud fail coz of it.

The universal kit gives it a nice roar and a bit more pulling power but it will fuck up ur top end. The same thing happend to my mk3 cavalier

All that noise and look how slow it is! Another victim of the boy racer maketing and advertising team. They really go for young men, the type who can't afford a decent car but will buy anything if told it will make their car faster and give more power. When you grow up you will see how you were conned. People fall for it every year. Always a new victim! So-called air filters that cause damage by allowing unfiltered air in to the engine slow the car down. Throw it away and go back to standard.

@urbex2007 I didn't buy it to make it faster or more powerful, I just like the sound. It's the same reason I bought a cheap one rather than wasting £100-£200 on one. I did put it back to standard in the end. Guess you are only young once, I enjoyed it and that's all that matters!

An air filter is not an induction kit...

It's an air filter..

Induction is piping in cold air from the atmosphere and not warm air from your engine bay..

Without the intention of pissing on your parade an induction kit is a generic term for a cone filter and basic fitting kit. It works as an aftermarket induction alternative to the standard airbox so yeah a cone filter is an induction kit.

There are obviously more advanced induction systems such as SRI (Short Ram Induction) and CAI (Cold Air Induction) but any system that replaces the standrd airbox is considered an induction kit.

what happens when you put a non stock sterio in a corsa b do you loose the centre screen, or does it work just not with the radio channels(date, time and temp still show?)

You stil have the time and temp but you lose the centre section. When there is no stereo on the date will be show in the centre part.
