  • The beauty is without emotion or sentiment. As it undergoes entropy, it decomposes into the elements which makes the color, shape and feel of matter change course. In its midst is the contempt for its meaning and an express desire for another reality of time.

  • I can hardly listen to this if I think about how people treat each other. How I am, have been and will be powerless to stop the useless hatred, people torturing other people for no reason. If you ask why enough times, it just comes down to them not thinking, or liking to make others suffer. That's why I can't listen to this very well, it's incredibly sad to think about those things and listen to it.

  • @EveryTimeV2

The design of civilization has created a psychological geography which inhibits spontaneity. The conflict in our species arises from this incongruity and nothing else. The tone of language is shaped by the fiction of self-righteousness. This combined with an infrastructure antithetical to biology creates a collective psyche in distress.

  • This is beautiful. I am very glad I stumbled onto this, in this morning. Everything could crumble all around me, but if you played this song louder than the racket I would go the most peacefully.

  • Quite a moving song. The little echo/pad on the piano adds a nice eerie touch to it. The piano itself also sounds quite pretty. I love songs like these - nice choice of images/videos to play it with.

  • molto bello

  • The world keeps turning....

  • Chopin?

  • @bbjmm: no! Brian Eno!

  • @HeathenLoveGod a copy...

  • @HeathenLoveGod /watch?v=HiwPzHJ-Pic

  • After listening to this for exactly 48 seconds I thought and said aloud "This is so fuckin' sad." But I never meant it in a bad way.

  • it's fascinating how music can describe our feelings, and how easily we are able to relate it to ur memories... I like your story, since I had a few moments in my life, when I didn't know exactly what to do with myself, and what lies beneath the future...

When I have those little crashes, and get overwhelmed by the weight of existence, I always think that I really do mean nothing to the surrounding world, that I'm just a little dust and I shouldn;t be scared by anything that comes with my life

  • @gedzior84 - I believe our future depends powerfully on how well we understand this Cosmos in which we float like a mote of dust in the morning sky.

    -Carl sagan

  • when i hear this song i revisit my last days living alone in bellingham.

i was broke, and my family was coming to get me and take me to a different state. i was smoking indoors for the last time in a long time, and i didn't know where my life would change me and take me to in the coming months. it was an unsure feeling as i looked over the stark precipice of change, and this song captures that feeling so well. i was just standing at my window smoking a pipe and listening to this song.

  • Like a beautiful Chopin prelude that wants to move on endlessly with subtle harmonious charms. Looking into lots more of Eno's relaxing music. Thanks for posting this video and music.

  • His music is actually so amazingly moving I have pissed myself

But the piss sort of flows like a river, and that's really relaxing when you think about it

^ The majority of the comments here. People, there's a fine line between appreciation and pretentiousness

  • @Soundfrequency oh come on, i think people are just eager for an outlet. let's face it, there are relatively few people who appreciate Eno/Budd and even fewer places for people to talk about their appreciation.

and let's face it: most of us are stoner-philosophers. it's just how we do :)

  • @OBLIVIOUSavior

Oh jeez, I had no idea what you were talking about till I went back and read my comment.

  • heard this off of aim radio

  • Eno's compositions are really moving but calming at exactly the same time. sort of like Buddhism would want you to think...not that thats a bad thing either. we need to consider that kind of path more often in this day and age. More connectivity and less frantic and frenetic activity. However, one shouldn't always have to be in this zone all of the time. b.a.l.a.n.c.e, bitches. balance.

  • Haha, nice :D

Once I've written my own prescription for life, and I figured out, that the most important thing in life is distance. You need to have distance for everything - I mean the ability to look at things from different perspectives.

You need to have distance to the world, to yourself, and even the distance to the distance itself :P

It's really hard, but possible :)

  • totally. your right. sometimes it spooks me when i try and look at the world from outerspace's point of view and have a slight freak-out because everything is so vast and out of my egocentric human brain's control. Lol! your right!

  • @AKMAC82 Haha, throwing out the word "bitches" really illustrated what you were communicating!

  • I bet some visuals in the video are from Google Earth images :)

  • Is this song from the Harold Budd collaboration album? I know this song. I had that album a long time ago

  • essential,

    thank you.

    we all fade...

    -junk wrist

  • This is like .. Brian eno conscience .. losing hope.. then ...

he made something that amaze me .... always returning.... it represents to me... God infinite love...

  • reminds me of some of the music from the soundtrack of Spirited Away. lovely ^^

  • good job, but a little poor quality. Think you can do better if you try something more original.

    Eno's music deserves it.

  • thats a trip!

  • Eno is great! One wink, try Pekka Pohjola,if you like Eno.Finnish composer and bassplayer.

  • wow talk about a nice pointer, who else do you recommend ?

  • wow es precioso ,perfecto

  • wow. now that i've heard your opinion, i've suddenly realised that this track isn't as moving as i've always felt it was!

damn. I want to hear your opinion on more brilliant tracks! Without your un-founded critisicms i don't know how to feel about a track.

your opion matters to everyone. your significant. the world revolves around you.

  • Brian Eno is God reincarnated through the body of a prolific mortal...

  • This is an interesting video, where did the blue the green and the white go? Now in cities we have only grey... Very well put together ^_^ Excellent music!

  • Remember this is Harold Budd playing, Brian Eno did the production and effects.

  • right

  • i cry for these landscapes

  • i like

  • 1:18 - 1:44 looks a lot like the cover of "The Pearl." The end sequence also.

  • Are you following the Ob river in Russia? In the satellite scenes.

  • I think not:) It was a long time ago, but I believe it was the river of Amazonia :)

  • I just discovered this music today!!! It's exactly what I'm looking for.

  • among fields of crystals.. that says it all.

  • well put

  • Haunting ethereal and beautiful.

  • gorgeous

  • This is also a work of Genius. Eno and Budd owned it up on this record.

  • as far as I am aware this is Harold Budd and Eno, Eno doing treatments.

  • yes, you're right.

I just had it titled just for Brian Eno, so sorry for my mistake :)

  • No worries, just like Mr Budd to get a bit of attention too

    Cheers

  • Hope that mr Harold will have no offense :D

  • Hehe, kocham Cię Gędzior! :D
