Universally the high E string is FIRST STRING and the low E string is SIXTH STRING. It's a STANDARD. That's how they're sold. I know this video tutorial is trying to be helpful but it should be redone so as not to do any harm. Sincerely.

Thats definatly not how you play the song correctly, your close, but your finger picking is wring and two chordes you playing are close, but wrong. Where you put your finger on one string is wrong, you shouyld have your finger on 2 strings, its like an A minor without the string your ring finger is on. and you play a C after thatl, not a distorted one.

I'm sorry to point this out but if your going to teach the guitar you should tell your students the proper numbering of the strings starting with the high E as the 1st string and so on E-1st B-2nd G-3rd D-4 A-5ft E-6st

I don't like to spread negative vibes, but, this vid is incorrect in a lot of ways. A couple of things that I notice right away. Your chord diagram that pops up on the screen for a D chord is backwards. Incorrect fingering. Also, not sure why you included Em in this group of chords on your diagrams. There is no Em in this part you're playing.

Also, the chord that you are playing that you say you have no idea what it is: it should be an Am7.

Dude, your guitar is not tuned correctly. For the original song the guitar has to be tuned a half step below. The low E string must be Eb2, G string must be G#2, D string must be C#3, G string must be F#3, B string must be Bb3 and high E must be Eb4. If you really now how to play guitar you'll understand me. Try it !
