Some NDE experiencers have told of hellish places. I know one who died in a car wreck and ended up somewhere you don't want to be. I think the bottom line is if you choose separation from God in this life, that's what you end up with for eternity. Eternity only because time doesn't exist in the spiritual realm.

You know how sometimes you're half asleep, half awake. you feel like you're thinking and talking in your head in your sleep? well, that a stage of your sleep that people dont last long in, usually a few seconds. Its a hypnotic state. but you can ask god anytime. it does help though if you're in sleep mode (at least from my own experience...). i went 48 hours without sleeping just reading, searching, then it came to me to just ask aloud. Good stuff ever since. :))))))))))))

Actually I can control what I do in most of my dreams. It's like suddenly I just realize that I'm in my dream, and I just stop running (in most of my dreams I'm running from something) and turn around to face what I'm running from and show I'm not so afraid anymore, and then wake up. At least that's how it is for me. :-)
