  • This is such a beautiful and very underrated song!! There is so much depth forgotten in his early albums.

  • OMG! I haven´t heard this song for years! What a flash -back!

Bowie´s voice , here, remembers me the sea waves, sliding on the sand, back and forward...

Thank you so much for uploading this masterpiece!

  • Oh I love every second of the album, but this is by far, far one of the finest tracks. No, to my knowledge I know not of Bowie performing this beauty live. I would absolutely and dearly love to be corrected on this . . Barbara Kerr xx

  • absolutely fantastic track coming from a wonderful album and artist.

  • i remember sitting in in my bedroom in 1970 after buying this album,,a mere 13 year old,,my grandmother thought i had lost the plot....

  • the great song ever.the song who help me in my darkest hour.king David i love you

  • love is all we neeed. kick out the germs, kick out your mother, cut up your freind screw up your brother or he will get u in the end .....lyrics sent from god

  • This is the greatest anti-utopian song ever written. Utopianism kills, and Bowie knew it. For example, when we hear "We can force you to be free," we're hearing the language of Rousseau and the horrid French Revolution. Same with the line, "We slit the Catholic throat." Much more could be said about all kinds of references in this song.

  • @Jitpring Well said good sir.

  • my favourite bowie song....i met him once when he was living on a different planet...me too....he told me the song was about me...cos i looked like a little swan....something like that...LSD....little swan dylan....o...got to go back to Jupiter....bye...there coming to take me away....HELP

  • This is such a special song, totally unique. Love to listen to it!

  • Is this really about the Arts Lab? I thought it was about some sort of political revolution gone wrong?

  • @DanBlabbers Its meant to be applicable according to bowie though its about a revolution

  • oh my god this song is so good. Freaking amazing album altogether. I really wish he did some other albums like Space Oddity.

  • @SpacemanSchmuck same here. I wish he did this song live, but I can't find it anywhere.

  • man who sold the world..doh

  • David Bowie is the sexiest man in the world.

  • I second that statement. He. Is. Pure. Sex. Appeal

  • You can't second your own statement.

  • @NESHero lol if he can't then I will. David Bowie is the sexiest man in the world. I second giantfruitapple's statement.

  • @KarlMarkis But it doesn't make any sense.Beacuse I'm the sexiest man. he maybe a very close 2nd, but I'm still the best looking male.

  • @NESHero You offer a strong argument in your case. Your pixelated profile pic of an 80's video game icon is quite sexy, I might have to secede Bowie's sexy title to your video game-glorified body some say is a temple to worship

  • @KarlMarkis eh you are quite sexy....if you find groucho marx sexy....most women i know say lennydylan is the sexiest man alive...xxxx

  • @lennydylan I find groucho marx to be quite sexy. Women can't resist his rapist mustache and old jew-doctor glasses, they're just too perfect.

  • Bowie is the best singer there ever lived
