  • I guess in those days 1-800 numbers were not as common. Whoever heard of selling something while making the customer pay for the call. Plus long distance rates were more in 1977 than they are today.

  • I got Music Machine for Christmas in 1977.

  • I remember seeing this commercial when I was 6. My Dad walked in, saw the robot and said, "What the hell is that thing?" I was like, "That's the music machine, dummy!"

  • These commercials came from Rrunner81sg, whose account was suspended by YouTube this week. Thanks for reposting these clips. Her 1977 collection was incredible! I am sure that she will repost these ads eventually, but it will take alot of work.
